Jon Walters ...is he Scouse ? To be fair we haven't sussed his colour out yet Brammer? In September, my company had a "get together" day since we all work from home. I have only been with the company for a year, so i got talking to one of the guys there, and he said oh, your from stoke me "yeah born and bred" him " are you a stoke fan" me "yeah for my sins" him "my brother in law used to play for stoke" me "oh yeah" thinking he was going to throw some obscure name and id have to pretend to remembering him him "Yeah, his name is johnny walters, if you have heard of him "!!!!!!!!! Absolutely true story Excellent Was a great comment in the Irish Independent a few years ago after he scored the play off goals V Bosnia The journalist said he won't rest until there were at least 2 statues of Jon Walters on O'Connell Street Loved him

He was born in South Africa but grew up in Rhodesia before it was Zimbabwe. This amazing bloke played for Matabeleland in the ConIFA World Cup at the age of 60.

Howard Gayle, another 80s loanee I went to Anfield with a mate on a VIP day for a special birthday for him , not me obviously. We dined there and then there was a talk from a former Liverpool player. We got Howard F***ing Gayle??????? of all famous players at that club. Rip off or what.
