Nowt wrong with a scouser. Similar humour to ours. Other than swearing every other word, talking whilst gargling flem, thieving and saying like all the time you're right there is nowt wrong with them. Every Scouser I've ever spoken to has been sound and down to earth. They are more like the people of Stoke than probably anywhere else in the UK.

Liverpool, or the centre of it anyway, a very friendly city. Similar to North easterners IMO

I've worked with a few scousers and they'd do anything for you to help you out. Half of my family are Geordies and you're correct they are very similar to Stokies and scousers. There are thieves and horrible people in every city in the world so not sure why scousers all get tarred with that brush.

I’ve worked with many scousers over the years and I’ve always found them to be sound.

Ive got family in Liverpool and lived there for a time as a small boy. Very good people living in a very harsh environment. Like Stoke they have a very strong sense of community and just like North Staffordshire its a collection of neighbourhood tribes- in that sense it simply doesnt have the big city feel of Manchester or Birmingham, both of which Ive also lived in.
There are some big differences like the city lost half its population in the second half of the 20th century, and it had a history of huge Irish immigration, but the things that would bind us together are greater; Self deprecating humour, history of low incomes; family orientated and community focused, love of footie. I couldnt write all of that list for Birmingham and Manchester

Did you know that Scouse is derived from Lob Scouse the stew that they make in Da Pool. Probably nicked the name from our lobby, the true lobby! ;-)

On the other side of the coin the Scouse Stoke roll call has some decent members - Pej, Inchy ...... He did. A couple of streets away from me - according to my very observant Window Cleaner at the time. As did Chris Greenacre for a while. Thinks....wonder if Schumie will be looking for a place in North Warrington now... (Edit) - meant to respond to the Sheron post.

Always considered Warrington as more Manc. Widnes, Runcorn, St Helens more scouse Warrington was Merseyside for a time thanks to those 70's boundaries (Cheshire now). Most of those places are so confused about their identity they don't know what the f**k they are. It's just that the scouse accent is more noticeable.

I live here Bromborough is not Cheshire, it's Wirral which is one of the areas of Merseyside. I live on Bromborough and get a free Merseyrail travel pass at 60. You don't get that in Cheshire. The CH postcode covers East Flintshire, West Cheshire and the Wirral part of Merseyside. I'm boring myself now.

Can't beat a good boundary feud
Wirral is one of those places am not actually sure what it is.. I'm know is a Liverpool thing
I just ask Alexa and she told me the distance from the sun to the Earth ...twice . I think she struggles to understand me...typical bird
Google has solved the matter ...a peninsula between Deeside and Merseyside

Jon Walters ...is he Scouse ? To be fair we haven't sussed his colour out yet Brammer? In September, my company had a "get together" day since we all work from home. I have only been with the company for a year, so i got talking to one of the guys there, and he said oh, your from stoke me "yeah born and bred" him " are you a stoke fan" me "yeah for my sins" him "my brother in law used to play for stoke" me "oh yeah" thinking he was going to throw some obscure name and id have to pretend to remembering him him "Yeah, his name is johnny walters, if you have heard of him "!!!!!!!!! Absolutely true story
