He's doing really well up there by all accounts. I know a big Rangers fan who goes every home game, he says he's spot on.

"None of the 14 in blue who stepped onto Spanish soil are Philippe Clement's signings, but on this night, they well and truly felt like his team. His pride was palpable post-match"
What's all this about as well? Surely a new manager needs a transfer window or two to make a difference with his new club? A coach that can actually coach, and work with what he's got, what a fucking liberty.

I’m happy that he has got his career back on track. He’s a good keeper but had to sort his head out and regain his confidence.

Glad he’s found a home and some form.
His first full season he was arguably the best keeper in the PL. He was as incredible as the rest of the team were horrible. Particularly against Arsenal and Norwich.

Very happy for him. Coming back from a fractured ankle into the maelstrom of a relegation season certainly didn’t help. I hope he makes it back into England contention.

Pleased for him, always came across a top lad but unfortunately lost his way. We've ruined many down here.

No use looking for a good striker up there then! Only joking, good luck to him!

Very happy for him, but for the injury training for England I think he would have been an England regular. It’s been a long journey back for him but he’s knuckled down and stuck with it and had the belief in himself.

Good luck to him.
I will never forget that night at Leeds in the League Cup.
We were shouting "England's Number 1" and winning the match.
Jack made a mess of a clearance and led to a Leeds goal.
The Leeds crowd started singing "England's Number 1" in derision at Jack's mistake.
The match was drawn and went to penalties. The penalties were even and Jack stepped up to take the last deciding penalty to howls of derision from the Leeds crowd.
Jack scored and we won the match. Thank you Jack for a great night.

I’m happy for Butland. He kind of just fell to pieces here after his injury. It was such a shame for him and for us. He still probably had 6 or so years left in him. I hope he can get some silverware.

This is good news. He always seemed a very likeable character and an undoubted talent. Another example of the curse that SCFC has become for any player in the last half dozen years.

Good luck to Jack, hope his career goes from strength to strength. The injury and our relegation season destroyed his confidence.. glad he's fighting back.

With what we know about The Oatie…. ….and what we have going on at the moment. Let’s check. Ex local hero (cue music) Ex player of the year (15/16) Ex England international…at every level from the 16s up Knows how to win (European U17 Champion) Knows the Premier League. KNOWs the club. No doubt in my mind we should be getting him back to support World of Twist.

It would be just like Coates to give this buffoon his first managerial role!!!
If this happens, I'll throw my Season Ticket into the sea!!

Jack Butland is a worse goalkeeper than Jack Bonham!! Fact!! That's not fact, it's your opinion and you are wrong. He was way better before his injury. Arguable worse than Bonham after. Butland rarely came out for cross, Bonham does and sometimes drops a clanger - comes to about the same thing. Butland’s kicking, and until recently so was Bonham’s. Both are good shot stoppers. Butland was terrible on penalties. Bonham is about the same. So it appears they are about the same, but Butland faced much stronger opposition.

Butland at his best was light years ahead of Jack Bonham, Butland has now picked his levels back up to a standard that is levels above Jack Bonham. Jack Bonham is utter dogshit at his best level, there's no comparison to be made.

That season and the season after he was so poor it was laughable. Regardless of who was in front of him his decision making was like a 7 year old.

Seems he’s doing well. That’s all I’m saying. Forget the likes of Bonham etc, in his own right he’s fought back and is now number one at a pretty big club and showing off in Europe. Looked super confident too. Back to being a proper goalkeeper.

Literally the main reason we got relegated (Leicster at home).
The cheer leading for him is the same as 'three cheers for Ramieres' in Mike Bassett.
That cheating on the Emirates flight has a lot to answer for!!!
