I would be happy with Nuno but it would only work if we go Portuguese like Wolves did. That would mean a big overhaul of the playing staff again. Could we do that over the next 6 months? Could we get back the money on players we’ve signed who aren’t suitable? I'm sure Nuno isn't just a Tuga or bust specialist. He happened to buy Portuguese players because that's the market the Mendes recruitment agency fished in. Jared 's supercomputer is more far-reaching. Jared’s computer needs chucking in the bin where it belongs.

Odds gone from 16/1 down to 2/1, now almost favourite Would be an amazing appointment, the character of the guy is exceptional. If it’s a realistic option, we should be pushing the boat out to do it.

I would be giving him whatever he wants, quite frankly. IF TRUE that he's put himself forward and applied, we are not going to get another opportunity to hire a manager of his calibre any time soon, even more so in what is turning into a relegation battle in the second tier. And if he has applied, it might just show his hunger and desire to get back in the English game. It could be his new Wolves, if the cards are played right on both a footballing level and a board level.

Backed to the hilt by the Wolves board with a Portuguese super agent behind him. However if he can find me another Neves willing to ply his trade at Stoke for a few years be difficult to turn that down. I know Spurs fans didn't like his football but they'd much rather lose every game 6-5 playing the Spurs way 🙄 Although he will get backed by the board, like you have said, a lot of really good Portugees players dropped in his lap at Wolves through that agent. I’m on the fence with this one I hope I am wrong IF he rocks up.

Just out of interest, what were the odds on Alex Neil before news broke that morning he had done a runner from his Mackems press conference?

He's currently odds on favorite for the job, so I would say that's a chance Nice thought but he’s still not favorite and not odds on 😂 Sadly true the reason the bookie always wins is they fix the odds. Fits with a side who's owners are from Bet365

This would be fantastic, a real coup. It couldn’t happen could it? For me, living in Wolverhampton it would be even sweeter. All Wolves fans that I know, to a man describe him as their greatest manager of recent times. Go get him Stoke!

Bloody hope this is true……..I remember the QSF fuss at the time though and we ended up with Lambert. That was exactly my reaction when I came on here and read this thread . QSF was in close season though and demanding certain transfer(s) of player(s). as a condition of accepting the job.
