Bit more effort than Saturday … but definitely one of the worst Stoke sides ever No goals in this side whatsoever and we SHIT ourselves in the last 10 mins of every game!!!

Bonham had nothing to do all game, I'd say that was pretty comfortable. Re the chances question, Mmaee had two decent chances which is two more than he had in the last game. Was it perfect, no, but it was a lot better. We had a couple of chances on Saturday just like tonight but it’s hardly like we created anything substantial or a game plan. It’s just the same shite. Their keeper didn’t have to do anything apart from a penalty. We had two chances on Saturday, one was the penalty Keeper made four saves tonight, two very good ones too Ww also had the ball in their box lots we absolutely didn't on Saturday

The only consistency is our failure to win games of football.
Play well, play poor, play a good side, play a terrible side - none of it matters to us. Just a complete and utter failure to score goals and win games.
The most worrying thing tonight is it took a penalty to score. Miles the better side, a few half chances but other than the penalty, we were never scoring. We're always one error away from calamity, and that error always comes.
I think we've been the better side in each of the last four games. But despite being the better side, we don't have any control. It's erratic, off-the-cuff football with no repetition of patterns of play. There's talent in the squad but they're in dire need of consistency in personnel and formation. They need some proper coaching, not just worrying about the opposition (who are more often than not utter fucking guff).
You couldn't have hoped for an easier four fixtures than the ones we've just come through and the lack of goals is a real worry.
All of the above has been relevant at any point in the last six years. Manager changes, staff changes, player changes - same result.

More shots, better chances created, it was better. What chances did we create? Gooch. Good cross shot. Saved and then well grasped after it was fumbled. Mmae. Good shooting opportunity. Wrong decision to back heel. Mmae 1 v 1. Good save. Tchamadeu good block from above Mmae chance. Pearson. Got across his man. Was shot on target but hit our man and went for corner. Tchamadeu got across his man. Edge box. Left foot shot off target. Penalty. Tchamadeu header across goal. Poked wide by Mmae. Rose header back post. Over the bar. Juhno inches away from a header from a cross. Rose header centre of goal from a corner. These are the best I can think of.

Off the top of my head I named 11. So, just accept the L and move on.

And people genuinely think that Graham Potter is going to be running down Sir Stanley Matthews Way to work with this group of players and save us ... 😅
We are where we are Ladies and gentleman. A bottom half Championship team that is closer to League One than a top half finish.

Second half was a lot better.... But the first half was as poor as Saturday, we looked nervous, and looked void of any game pattern!!!

I wasn’t there Saturday but was tonight. That was as bad as anything I’ve seen in a long time. Two awful teams who could barely find a pass. Intensity picked up after we scored but apart from that it was dire. Not been much this season then?

That was awful and yet some think it was better I guess that sums up our current status If you don't think that was better than saturday you didn't watch one of the games. Saturday set the bar in relation to the worst football I have ever seen. Today was marginally better, it couldn’t fail to be, but it was still way short of tolerable.

An improvement and better intensity, but it's got a very bad run to compare it to. The managerial appointment, along with the JTW needs to be 100% bang on. There is no room for error, none whatsoever.

It was both awful and better tbh. We upped our game to awful We just didn’t put a team out that would score in open play. Mmaee was so isolated. Johnson is fucking woeful. Such a negative set up and it showed.

What chances did we create? Mmaee had a one on one shot straight at the keeper and put wide from a cross when the goal was open, and he created the penalty for the goal. Rose had a free header from a corner at the end that he somehow headed into the turf and it bounced over. And we scored from the penalty so that’s an improvement

It was definitely better. I know because I kept watching to the bitter end - which I haven't been able to do the last few games.

As Suffolk lamments, some fans seem to suggest that this standard of display is somehow acceptable. We were fortunate that Swansea were even worse than Stoke but it doesn't bode well for the immediate future. We didn't lose, for once, but the future doesn't look bright in the hands of this group of players.

It was as far from a balanced side as you’ll ever see. I like this team: New GK Junior McNally New CB New LB Pearson Burger Campbell Bae Vidigal Mmaee And think it would do well. Even with Rose and Gooch at CB and LB.

By Xmas we will have played Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea and Millwall at home with a potential for 9 points from teams near or below us. Currently we’re on 1 point out of a possible 6. IMHO tonight reinforced how far this squad is from being anything other than average (with luck) never mind progressive. Tonight were two poor teams, huffing and puffing we shaded it

It was better than Saturday just. But it was all so slow and starting with Mmaee as a sole striker, at home, disappointing. I assume the plan was to overload the middle, make sure we didn't concede (which we wouldn't have done without Bonham's brain explosion) and sneak a break out goal. With how high up the pitch they were defending, we had the chance to go over the top or down the flanks but in the first half particularly, all we did was to get caught continually offside.

Today was marginally better, it couldn’t fail to be, but it was still way short of tolerable. Marginally better is still better, but I disagree. We win that game 9 out of 10 times. 16 shots vs. 8, 4 vs. 2 on target. Good enough? Not when you gift them goals with schoolboy errors. But only one man did that (twice) today. First half was poor, second half was good IMO. We played well, were more direct than in many games (only 43% possession) recently, and passing back a lot less than under AN. Except Johnson and Mmaee, but the setup meant Mmaee was really isolated. Don't know what your expecting. We're a bottom half(quarter) championship team, and have been for years. That some of you think we should be playing like we did when we had Bojan, Shaq, and Arnie is your problem. You don't go from ANs shit to prime Barca in one game.

It was no better than Saturday, Swansea were worse than Wednesday the only difference was we scored the penalty this time, other than that we didn’t look like scoring. Yes, Gooch had a decent game and Laurent decided to look like he could be bothered and ran around a bit. However, the defence looked disjointed and fragile, the defence had no “link up” and provided no service to Maee, who quite frankly is Meh!
And yes, a very low bar has been, in fact, I wish the bar could be lowered so that maybe Bonham wouldn’t let so many piss poor goals in.

Teams have got us sussed now...it doesn't matter what you do for the first 85 minutes because Stoke can't score. Then pile the pressure on in the last 5 minutes...get a corner or a free kick, or just get into the Stoke half and let them do the rest.

Swansea may have looked worse than Wednesday to you, but don't you accept that teams can be made to look poor because we do well without the ball ? It makes me laugh on here how every time we dominate a game there's a whole bunch of people who say its because the other team played shit.
