I am thinking he will take a couple of weeks off to recharge his batteries and top up his tan in Dubai and then throw himself back in to the fray, if there are any takers.
I am struggling to imagine anyone matching his salary at Stoke, of course I don't know what that was but presumably its safe to say it was an uplift on what Sunderland were paying him. Will he have a handsome pay-off from the bank of Bet365? Possibly, I am not sure how these things work.

I think it'll be a league one club again.
No idea who. But anyone sacking their manager now are usually in trouble and he's put us in a relegation fight rather than take us away from it so I don't see any of them taking a chance on him.
Anyway for now he's done. On to the next one and some positivity hopefully.

Wherever it is he will do well like all managers do before and after their association with us

He will get another gig somewhere in the future and probably do OK in a Rowett at Millwall kinda way .He wasn't what we needed here.Ditto Lambert, Jones and Rowett.
There's a common theme isn't there, since relegation with only MON in that first half season and the beginning of the 21/22 season that showed any sustained positivity.
You'd think we were crap at appointing managers !

Don’t think we’ll see him in the Championship unless he brings a club up from league 1. Hopefully his experience here will have taught him some things, humility would be a good start

Rotherham perhaps?! Likely to be League 1 next season but he wouldnt get the blame for them going down & he's shown that League 1 is potentially his level.
Be set up in post and just our luck he'll be there for the Rotherham v Stoke in early January. & as we've seen In his ganes v Sunderland, what the outcome could potentially be 🙄😬 Would definitely have Canning as his No.2, would Gallagher stay at Stoke or follow AN to his next project I wonder? 🤔

Anyway for now he's done. On to the next one and some positivity hopefully. I think so too. His results for us after the backing we gave him have damaged his reputation as a Champo manager, but he’ll have credibility in the bank for what he did at Sunderland. He won’t care though, he has a nice fat wad to sit on and will be content going back to a Sunderland-level salary again.

a few weeks being an "expert" summariser on the highlights show, then when Ruben Selles gets the sack at Reading he will go there
