As sad as it is losing another manager…..you can’t deny that initial buzz and hope that the next one is more Macari than Jordan.
I know it usually doesn’t last, and within a few weeks we’re back to the misery, but at least we get a brief moment where we can dream again.
While some supporters are lucky to develop an addiction to success, here at Stoke we get addicted to appointing a new manager!

Honestly don’t see this bunch of players doing anything of note, so disjointed all over the show.

I'm oscillating between euphoria and a well founded fear of the inevitable crap appointment. Let's get it right this time for my sanity!

I personally will be really interested to see which players if any perform better on Tuesday after Neil's departure. Also the starting line up and general set up of the team!

A new Lou, o you want us to go down, so Lou an take us up to where we are now. If it means the club has the buzz that we had then? Yes. Lou brought the club together more than any modern era manager. Pulis included. That’s what we need now. Doesn’t matter what division we’re in. We just need that buzz again. And soon.

It's just all a mess. No buzz from me. I wanted Neil gone but under no illusion as to what lies ahead.
I'm filled with nothing but dread.

I'm looking forward to appropriate substitutions giving players a chance to get into the gameand getting more than the last two minutes.
I would also like to see what money we can get for Wesley and gayle, any bid above tuppence would do.
Also like to see the young players given a proper chance, first as substitutes then maybe starters
We have some good players but not a team, it always looks as if they just met for the first time on the pitch.
Having been a supporter through thick and thin for 64 years my hopes and dreams are just that, the interlude before reality strikes.

As John Percy alluded to in his article, this goes deeper than managerial appointments. Rowett and Jones have both had success before and after us. They're not bad managers but here they failed miserably. The common denominator is the board who appointed them

Why can’t we have potter , he failed at Chelsea , gave him a job at 365 pay-him £150K a week let him do Stoke managers job part time , on £40K a week . Same as what he was on at Chelsea.

The common denominator is the board who appointed them In fact, every manager we've appointed since going down has had their worst win rate of their (domestic) career when managing us, which is pretty staggering.

I wonder what it will mean for players like baker who were plainly out of favour? I don’t think we have too many out on loan maybe Tom Edwards could come back into the fold?
