The board need to wake the fuck up and realise how angry people are at the shit they're being served up. Booing and chanting seems to have no effect, so we can go one of two ways: go full on '97 and start tearing the place apart, or just stop attending until Alex Neil is fucked off. If he hasn't gone by Tuesday then that'd be an ideal time for the board to see three empty stands as fans register their disgust at being taken for idiots. I’d imagine they’ll have a board meeting either today or tomorrow morning. Let the dust settle, have a day to think & digest what happened & then make a decision. They might keep AN in post until they can sort another manager appointment out. That’d hardly do the club any favours though 🤔

I've said to my mate that I really don't know if I can be arsed to go on Tuesday if Neil still remains in charge. I'm just fed up of watching a repeat of the same old shit.
Rush back home, grab a shower, quick bit of tea and back out again just for (very) probable disappointment.
I'll certainly be mulling it over at the least. Watching your team play football shouldn't feel as shit as making you not arsed to go down the match.

I personally think he will be sacked on Monday morning. If he had a modicum of integrity he would hand his notice in and walk. For whatever reason he has failed epically. In his shoes I would walk and apologise. Fully in agreement. But of course he won’t The cunt is waiting to get sacked to receive his payout

There'll definitely be a few hundred less there, at the very least, if Neil is in post (at least in name) Put Shawcross or Alex Morris in the technical area, remove the negativity, and it'll at least have a veneer of freshness. A cold midweek v Swansea is always a shit crowd at the best of times. I remember there was virtually nobody there for the out-ot-nowhere 3-0 win against them in MON's last full season

Its just in my mind I like to think that given the circumstances I would want to at least send a message that I've totally messed it up and by way of apology say chuck me this months salary so I can get the kids their crimbo pressies but other than that I'm off and won't go through a ritual that makes the process even worse than the mess I've already made of things. Obviously I am being naive though, I know that.

Anything at this stage to get the crowd a bit more enthusiastic about things. Also agree, cold midweek match against crap opposition really isn't an appealing prospect, and that's before you even consider the situation the club currently finds itself in. I really can't see anything happening today, John must seem to follow the Sabbath, so I shall be on Percy watch on Monday. Notifications are enabled on Twitter!

I imagine that because the goal came late yesterday that the booing and chants were quieter because lots just left and also drowned out by the Wednesday fans celebrating

No it's not - why would targets disappear when they know current incumbent is on borrowed time???? Despite our misgivings, the club will surely have a plan of some sort after this protracted run of chaos and a caretaker with a prospective sitting in the stands on Tuesday and perhaps on Saturday at WBA would be eminently sensible. Planets don't align like you describe and if they do it makes no odds as whoever it is will be coming for the money at the end of the day - none will care about the other stuff. OK sure they don’t that never happened when we sacked Hughes or when Wolves sacked Mad Mick. It only serves to give a club an air of crisis and cause potential targets to have second thoughts and what purpose does it serve bar letting the likes of you and me know that something is being done. Not for me just tell me when you’ve got your man. As I’ve already said if the new bloke is in the stands on Tuesday no problem fuck him off and escort him from the premises. Fair comment although I think the "air of crisis" is very much there for all to see - no-one will be surprised as we've long been the leading soft-touch-pay-out benefactors to useless journeymen of this parish!

I've got a season ticket but will be giving this a miss. Got an invite to a curry night, far more appealing that suffering through any more of that shit.

I’m not going Tuesday. I don’t get home until gone 6pm… Shower & out the door usually but I’ve already decided that I’m going to sit at home with my feet up & watch it in the warmth.
All 4 of us are not going so I can imagine the ground being empty, shame for Muniesa though. He loved it down here.

Last night, for the first time in a long time, I wasn't too keen on going on Tuesday evening. However, as I am the driver and my mate the passenger is going, I will be going because he is going. He felt the same, so he is only going because I am going. Provided we don't talk to each other we will both be there.
