Very, very sad. Unaccountably so.
The Likely Lads was wonderful and she was brilliant in it.
Film spin-offs from sitcoms are almost invariably poor, but the LL one gave her a classic line. They were on a caravan holiday and playing cards. Terry (James Bolam) steps outside for a pee.
Thelma: "It's the first time all night I know what he has in his hand".

Really liked her as Thelma in Likely Lads, and as Madge in Still Open All Hours. I saw her in a play at our local theatre a few years ago and she still had great presence on stage.
RIP

She was great as Thelma
Didn't know she was in Open All Hours, one of those shows couldn't bring myself to watch after a couple of tries.
Yep agree above, T LL film was great when so many spin off films of the era were dreadful, Rising Damp and especially the horrendous Grace Bros one, name escapes me.
Terry tapped off with Thelma's sister seem to remember, Bill Owen was her Dad
