Any chance he'll give any of Simpkin Junior, Gooch and Clark a start against QPR after today's defensive horror show? I'd bring all 4 in to replace Bonham, Hoever, Rose and Stevens.

They're two off the top of my head, but as far as the team goes Jack Bonham is right up there with the wankest keepers this division has ever seen.

I’m more concerned by the fact that they got past our defence at will and we created absolutely nothing. Bonham’s error for the 2nd was just the icing on a pretty shitty cake, we wouldn’t have equalised if we’d have played all night…..

I agree, and have mentioned the very same on a few threads today/tonight. On this particular thread I was bemoaning our league 2 standard no.1 keeper.

It's hard to select a worse line-up than he did this weekend but no doubt he'll dig deep to do so.

QPR, Plymouth & Sheff Wed. Taking nothing for granted but it should be 9 points and I’ll be happy with 7. Anything less than 6 and serious questions have to be asked

If you don't mind backing against Stoke, you would get great odds on QPR & Sheff Wed. both beating Stoke.
I don't see them both winning, but you can see us losing to one of them.

I’d drop Pearson after today. A total embarrassment….. Opinions eh, don’t agree with this, the reason being thought he snuffed quite a bit out today and was literally forced back behind the 2 slowest centre halves I’ve ever seen ( see 3rd goal) to cover for them. Also, numerous times he was stood on the ball looking to pass forward with fuck all on and all to often ended up passing it to DJ who would very promptly just pass it back to him. Pearson is very effective at what he does, but that has its limitations. DJ and Leris were crap today and the bigger problem. Leris couldn’t cross the road.

Whatever line up he picks makes no difference.
He will set up to stifle the opposition, whoever they may be,keep a clean sheet and hope to fluke a goal in one of our rare attacks .
We should be aware QPR were a very good team around the mid 1970s...

A point wouldn’t be the worst result there but only if we beat QPR and Sheffield Wednesday.

What really, really gets my goat is this very quick transformation from a team that made Leeds look very ordinary and deservedly beat an in form Middlesbrough, and also a decent Sunderland,to that shite yesterday. It is blindingly obvious that it’s all down to Neil’s management….he tinkers too much, definitely overthinks,is so fucking negative, has his favourites and is quietly driving me insane. Also, what the fuck fo they work on in training?

What did Pearson do that was so terrible? He was by no means great but thought him and Burger were the only ones who battled and at least tried to get things moving. Trouble is they aren’t really creative types so never going to stop popping it around corners. If Pearson didn’t drop back to get the ball, I don’t think there’d have been anyone to pass to at all! Blackburn drove a road straight through our midfield mate. Yet again for the third goal we have this supposed shithouse midfielder backing out of a 50/50 and feigning injury on the edge of their box. Nothing wrong with him seconds later when chasing the ref. He's done this trick far too often for us in his time here. The bloke is a fraud. A complete and utter coward. So what's the alternative? Thompson? Hot knife thru butter was the MO when he played DM in previous seasons. Laurent, the invisible captain? Other than chucking young Sidibe on Pearson is our only real DM option. He's not Makelele but he's the best we've had since we came down (and before). As with Allen, he can't be everywhere. The setup from AN sucks monkey balls, I'd rather we played a 4-5-1 with a donkey up top (which coincidentally we do when Wes is playing).

When he’s fit I’d like to see Haksa playing a similar role that Szmodics played yesterday. Not stuck out wide as a Vidigal replacement. Play Vidigal on the left put Gooch on the right and let JT play at right back. Hoever was shocking yesterday and day dreams too much. Never thought I’d say it but I think Thompson has actually been better than Pearson when he’s played too.

I want it to be: Bonham Junior - McNally - Rose - Stevens Pearson - Burger Campbell - Junho - Vidigal Mmaee
It'll probably be: Bonham Hoever - McNally - Rose - Stevens Pearson - Johnson - Burger Leris - Gayle - Vidigal
Haks isn't quick enough to play as a Szmodics type player.

Would just like him to pick a starting 11 that is on the front foot not the slow, boring possession based tripe that we are seeing. Yesterday's 'performance' was as bad as anything I've seen since we got relegated. As other posters have stated I reckon he'll play safe.

Was hoping to be there for this one, normally working down south but change of plan late on last week and I'm sat in Manc Airport, working in Udine for 3 days, pity there's no game on there this week.

Our miniature Ross Kemp will set us up for a bumper exciting 0-0, and we will lose 0-2, with Pearson getting the next of his red card quota. Then he will take Mrs Kemp Christmas shopping to Shepherds Bush Market to buy his son Dwight his comedy Xmas jumper ( extra small).

Last win for QPR Sept 2nd or 12 games ago. You just know what’s coming. Then onto Plymouth satdee having a mixed season but just beaten Sunderland and away to Coventry tomorrow. 2 very difficult games when the players confidence is through the floor.
