I've never heard a podcast in my life, but I have a question. Today someone told me every podcast is recorded and broadcasted afterwards so to speak.
Is that true? I had no idea. I thought they were live in real time.
Is there a problem?
Why can't they go live?

At least in English, the dictionary definition of a podcast is that it's a recorded programme.
