5 from me, looked like he was happy to take a draw against a struggling Coventry side that had spent the majority of the week sitting on the toilet, Mmaee and Wesley on the Bench but persisted with Gayle up front. Dull and a bit clueless to say the least. Gouranga.

Agree with that Albert
5 from me too.
Another team there for the taking and the starting 11 looked devoid of attacking intent.

5 unfortunately other teams have worked out his plan A and plan B. Add to that the fact we can’t put in a decent cross, we make too many mistakes, and misplaced passes and I don’t see see us challenging for promotion. I hope I am wrong but let’s face it, Neil is a decent mid-table championship manager. He admits it every press conference and post-match interview “this is a tough league, blah, blah, blah…” So is that what he is resigned to or is his ambition higher.

5 is about right. Gayle shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11
He also said we didn't have any wingers, what's happened to that Serbian lad Jojic

5: I think we totally lost control of the game in the second half and were lucky to come away with a point. I understand sticking with a team that’s generated a bit of momentum but picking players like Gayle and Johnson in this game is always likely to hold us back. We had a lot more threat when Junho came on.
But ultimately I think we were lucky to get something and would have had no complaints had we lost. Laurent winning the ball and there being just one runner ahead when they had 3 men back and were stretched was pretty telling.
We’ve been good over this 5 game spell, but my concern is we’re now going to be too timid against teams who we have a real chance of beating.

Let's be honest,if their shooting had been better,we would have lost that by at least three goals, clueless in the final third,no threat what so ever,no creativity from midfield,Stevens beaten for pace far to easily, after three impressive wins,we have gone back to previous performances, team selections are not helping..

7: a point away from home and a clean sheet.
Didn’t agree with the tactic of Johnson and Leris swapping flanks as this affected Hoever’s performance: him and Leris have developed a great understanding, yet it was hardly visible yesterday.

5 I get the idea of including Gayle for the "press" but he really is just a passenger in every other respect and feel we lose more than we gain with him on the pitch. Likewise with Johnson who, just now, is incapable of passing to a team mate. As mentioned above if Cov were any better at shooting we'd have lost that game. AN really needs to have a re think of our strategy.

5 for me, the set up just doesn’t have much creativity in it and we struggle to create. Take the draw but we rode our luck. My biggest gripe is starting with Gayle again and whatever subs he makes it’s almost always like for like, no change of tactics or vision of how to change the plot. It’s all to same and we get sussed out time and time again

I think overall given the team selection ie hoever , Johnson and Gayle Playing against a very average team with no confidence it has to be a 4 Agree with Albert he seemed to be happy with a draw
I just hope he doesn’t see that as our best team and can’t understand playing hoever instead of our own player

Coventry were poor but could have won the game 2-0 by missing easy chances. We must be the slowest team in this league...we stroll out from the back, we seem incapable of putting a decent cross in and don't talk to me about selecting Gayle. OK great wins recently but we are just so bloody inconsistent, the last 2 games it looked like we thought we'd win without getting stuck in.
I'm afraid it's a 4 from me for a complete lack of any motivation.

I can't believe it's for his defensive ability. 🙄 I don't know if Junior is any good going forward

We need to see more of junior that’s for sure

5. “I don’t worry about scoring goals with the attacking talent at my disposal” WTF Alex your team has failed to score in virtually half it’s competitive games. Maybe you should start worrying about scoring goals, it’s kind of the object of the game.

The only positive for me is that he made changes early (earlier than usual) and before the opposition. Mmaee and Bae both looked dangerous but I suspect he was protecting Ryan due to his apparent fitness issues. I fully expect Ryan to start v Blackburn.
Anyone know where Hacksaw was yesterday?

6 from me for extending the unbeaten run and another clean sheet. I'd experiment in training by dropping the two full backs and replacing them with Junior and Gooch. Both are capable of playing in both fullback positions and they are both capable of getting forward too.
OS.

5 - lucky not to lose.
Seriously boring game with mirror images of much of the last game, beyond clueless in the final third.
Good defensively overall and important not to lose.
We set up not to lose though. Not to win this game.

6 - a point away from home is welcome, no matter how it comes about. This is type of game I’m used to seeing us lose, and it’s a sign of a decent side that they can play poorly and still get something from the game. Nice to see us starting to look solid at the back and encouraging to see McNally performing really well - looks a bit of a leader at the back.

5. Obviously trying to stick to a formula that’s worked for a few games but he doesn’t seem to know how to tweak things against different opponents. He at least tried to be proactive by introducing subs earlier than usual but apart from Junho, none made any discernible impact. Think he should freshen things up next time, particularly in the forward areas and probably rest Hoever

This league is still so competitive, despite Leicester's current success, so why not 'have a go' and see if we can sneak top 6

4 , maximum of 4 , whenever he plays Gayle.
Football is a game of opinions and ten different Stoke fans would probably pick ten different teams, if you asked them , what their choice would be.
But the one thing that unites us , that everyone can agree on... keep Gayle off the pitch!

6 from me. A point away and a clean sheet was positive, but the team was again far too toothless going forward. That really has to be addressed by AN.
