Middlesbrough sold out their allocation there for the match last Saturday and if we can’t do the same it will be a poor show.

BM Sold out but there looked quite a few empty spaces, the Exeter game was the same. Don't get me wrong superb support from Middlesbrough but it looks like some people bought tickets and didn't travel (for the points, or in the case of Exeter a chance of Wembley tickets I'm assuming?)

Much will depend on the train situation mate Train situation last Saturday was abysmal. It was a fantastic effort and I’m in no way dismissing their support it was immense but another reason they played Exeter a few days before and it was half term with many families taking in a week down there with two matches Fair play to them but it’s a different scenario to us Me personally I’m at QPR on the Tuesday and going away to watch the cricket a few days after the Plymouth match so I’m seriously considering not going Everybody has their reasons

Much will depend on the train situation mate 135 quid return on train that day according too Trainline, thats abysmal It was 100 quid for Norwich which is extortionate, but on journeys of that distance it's comfortable the best way to travel still.

Well yes you make a valid point but it can often be like a pensioners trip to Scarborough fair on the club coach! Most of the private ones will be 30-40 quid with pub stops included

As is so often the case, they've put the worst seats up for sale first.
Will just have to wait until the better seats go sale, which will probably mean going onto the website nearly every day for a couple of weeks.
What an annoying waste of time.

This was true of QPR game too. Means the most loyal fans (not me!) get the worst seats. Is this because the home club decide which ones to give to the away team?

Forgot it Tbf they have to travel huge distances every other Saturday ( often even further) whereas our trip down there is a one off Bristol City is their closest match and that’s 2hrs minimum They still travel in good numbers despite that

Forgot it It's not too bad, I used to do it in about 3 1/2 hours when I lived in Stoke. Recently when my lad was at Uni there, I did it from Northwich and back in a day, set off at 6.30 and was on the Barbican in the pub before 10.30 watching one of the Barbarian Rugby games from down under, watched the game, cleared his flat out and drove back.

Forgot it I thought people were moaning about the cost of trains? It takes approx 5 hours from Stoke to Plymouth on the train. Similar time to coach as in car it would be 4 hours.

Whenever I query this with the ticket office, they tell me that they are instructed to sell the the blocks in a certain order by the home club.

Looking forward to this. Plymouth was my second home town whilst I was in the RN and I’ve a big soft spot for Argyle too. I’m giving the Barbican a miss as my Mrs want to see the toss hole boozers I loved to use in Ford, Morice Town and then uphill to Stoke. So there’ll be a pub crawl after the game starting at the Royal Naval Arms outside HMS Drake main gate, this will get messy 🤣
