Do it in the boothen end corner to to centralise the vocal support again. The singing from both ends of the ground at different times sound awful from where I sit now just left of half way.

I take it you’ve never experienced sitting in the Franklyn Stand…………it’s freezing. Apart from the inclement conditions that area of the ground is the main access point for emergency vehicles etc. The cost to build in that corner I expect would rule out your idea. I imagine to provide a standing area it would be to located where there’s minimal cost. I’ve sat in block 17 of the Franklyn Stand for the last 22 years. You’re right, it’s freezing, so surely building terracing in one of the open corners must improve that surely? In terms of emergency vehicles, how do all the other fully enclosed stadiums cope with that? They have a big truck sized tunnel.

Reasonably in favour but doubt very much I would move myself. An area of unallocated (don’t know whether that’s legal) or allocate on arrival standing would be an improved offering. That would allow groups of like minded individuals to gravitate toward each other to as near as possible recreate what terracing provided. It’s better for everyone, I’m a spectator I like a position high above the halfway line for the best view of the game. Someone jumping about chanting and singing with their arms outstretched fingers spread (does it help them sing better or are they just puffer fish?) isn’t really conducive to what I’m trying to do likewise waving flags etc. Very happy for them to have somewhere to congregate. It opens the diaphragm. That's why opera singers do it. 👍

Licensed? As in will have a bar? I'm all for that 👍 Licenced as in standing in a seat with the seat flap removed. So kind of standing but without any of the pleasures of standing like the freedom to roam and stand with like minded people. Standing-lite.

I would guess the front half of the Boothen or the home section of the South stand. Numerous complications to consider inc disabled area etc.

Surely the back half of the boothen as they tend to stand up anyway?
Keep the removed seats for spares and repairs?

Only way we can build in the corners now is "above and around" the vehicle access in both corners. I've always thought the next natural progression for the club would be an office/hotel above the club shop. I'm intrigued to know what we would/could do in terms of ground progression if we ever got promoted again and crowds seemed to demand it as ive been impressed with how the crowds are holding up (credit to SK) . Ive always been impressed by either "bowl" stadiums or stadiums with larger stands like villa park/newcastle. I cant imagine we'd have the demand for adding another 5k+ onto the back of the boothen or the dpd stand, maybe fill in the Boothen to Q Railing corner like Derby/Middlesborough have when there's an odd tier matchup.

Just heard on tv that standing instead of sitting prevents strokes.

Not sure their current survey is going to help them much. The last question is asking how willing you are to move to the standing area. That doesn't really guide the club as if they should implement a standing area.

Could well be but I believe the majority of our guys in the S Stand spend most of their time on their feet when they are interacting with the nearby visitors. Interacting is posh for hurling insults!!😃

Would I like a standing area, yes. Would I relocate, no. Too old now.😂😂

Just heard on tv that standing instead of sitting prevents strokes. That explains some of the pain I've felt down there over the past half a dozen seasons or so. I just thought Stoke were shit.

Standing-lite. i dont think a lot understand this , they think it will be like old terraced standing where you could move about I'm not sure how many people will take it up once they realise just how limiting it is. It is literally standing behind a seat. None of the joy and camaraderie and freedom of terracing. I think the campaign missed the target. @malcolm Clarke could comment but my guess is that it was this or nothing.
