Was in 2011...
Stoke 3-1 Blackburn Everton 0-1 Stoke Stoke 2-1 Tottenham Wolves 1-2 Stoke
An opportunity to do something tomorrow that the club hasn't managed in 12 years.
That should be front and centre as the primary motivation for the players, go and grab it with both hands lads.

We have a good chance. At home after 3 excellent wins, performance improving, injured players back and getting back to fitness.
Cardiff have had a decent start but looking at their 7 victories: Sheff Wed (H), Rotherham (H), Sunderland (A), Coventry (H), Swansea (H), Bristol City (H), Huddersfield (A) - only Sunderland stands out as the decent result, the rest were having poor starts/still poor so I don't see why we can't beat these tomorrow with their away record.
Seems like they don't create a lot of chances but they are clinical and are solid defensively as well this season.
It should be a decent match hopefully.

Without being too cliched, I think the focus - which for the players it will be of course - should be on winning 1 game in a row, tomorrow's. I'll be so chuffed if we do, and maybe even believe we might win the next 1 in a row too

I'll be so chuffed if we do, and maybe even believe we might win the next 1 in a row too I'd like winning to become a habit. Winning the next 30 in a row would also be good but I'll settle for the odd draw along the way to be reasonable 😉

Shit like this is why I struggle when people question me for being so negative. Absolutely woeful record that. Hopefully it can end today.

The trick is, to name the shittiest side possible, so it has the fans questioning his mental state..... Then they go and win!!!

An absolutely abysmal stat when you think we started 2018/ 19 season in the Championship after 10 in the top flight with a cool 50 million to throw at it.
Well done Gary Fucking Rowett and well done the owners for actually going back a second time to get their man !
Jones may have had us hurtling towards Division 1 but Rowett did the most damage long term.
That of course is another story and has been done to death .
Hopefully things are on the up now ,win today and I'll start to believe we may be on to something. We've got some talented players who also seem decent and likeable.

There's only one way you can sum up Rowett's management ability and his ability to maximise the potential if the players under his control: Bojan
