Maybe the others aren’t quite fit. We will see shortly. And having seen AN’s comments it’s about right imo.

Maybe AN is waiting for Johnson to have a good game, then he can drop him.

I think people are being a bit harsh on Johnson to be honest, I'd have preferred Bae but I don't believe Johnson is a bad player Left back doesn't make sense to me, mind you a lot of what AN does doesn't make sense I like him, he's always involved, he's busy

and why is our player of the month out on his ear So Leris can protect Hoever! If your defenders need protecting then there’s a problem.

Sorry but, what the actual. Play Junior. Johnson. He’s so so poor. Sigh. junho, junior, haks, and Gooch must be wondering why they signed for this idiot, when useless players like Johnson seem to be first name on the team sheet no matter how bad he plays

A player clearly on his last legs and we’re playing him instead of a young prospect who’s moved across the world to be here and looks every inch a future Premier League player. Neil is a cretin.

Don't think the starting 11 is that bad really.. It's the same starters bar Stevens who played and beat Sunderland.. if as he says he picks on merit, then that's what he's done - he's stuck with the winning starters from Saturday.
How many of those players would have felt aggrieved to have been dropped from the starting line up tonight..
This is a top championship team in Leeds who I think will finish on the top2. If he'd thrown junior and junho in and they get overrun he would of been crucified and criticised for playing youngsters with little experience. Their time will come but tonight with our fragile confidence and Leeds flying high is not the game for wholesale changes.

what a strange choice for LB I think that’s the real head scratcher today. I can forgive the decision around Leris over Hacks and understand Johnson being picked even though I don’t agree with them.

3 full backs on the bench and a central midfielder at full back. What a wanker. He’s absolutely lost the plot

I'd just like to see him pick a team set to impose itself on the opposition rather than contain them and hope for the best. On the face of it the Thompson decision seems madness.

he's not gone 3-4-3 or something? 4-4-3 with Thomo is a bit fkn odd, must have a 'plan'

Setting up with Thompson as a LB to contain Leeds will work about as well as Reactor No.4 contained the radiation at Chernobyl.

Pete Smith - "Jordan Thompson comes back in at left-back. Enda Stevens should be fine again for Middlesbrough on Saturday."
but what about putting Jnr at left back?! and having Thomo just as backup

It’s actually a more progressive selection.
Left footed player there ensures we’re not always going back into central areas; as it would be if we had Tcham or Hoever playing at LB.
Obviously counter argument is that Tcham and Hoever (maybe not) are better defenders.
