Some of the lads looked worn out by the end. Depending on how it plays out, I could see one or both of Pearson & Burger getting burned out and us losing the centre of the pitch. What about Junior for Thompson so Thommo can be fresh legs at CM second half. i was thinking more Mmaee and Vidigal tbh , 3 games in a week probably to much considering their fitness I'm worried about the energy levels of all the front 4, at least we have Bae/Wesley/Haks. Johnson and Leris looked energetic towards the end but could have pushed it too far. Just got nightmares of him playing Laurent at CM to rest Burger or even worse Pearson.

I'm quite sure the negative small group on this forum which I'm talking about don't go around wearing shirts saying I want stoke to lose. And I'm sure you've never heard a stoke fan saying they want stoke to lose..but as I said in my earlier posts, and I'll say it again for you. I do wonder with the same few being so negative about everything stoke city, Alex Neil etc, the impression I get is that their only happy when stoke lose so they can moan some more about stoke.. Some peoples attitude/comments towards stoke is unbelievably negative I do wonder if they are really stoke fans...maybe they are and I'm wrong, but the attitude of a few led by Bayern, pugsley is nothing short of pathetic. Who the hell are you to question someones support when you know nothing about them? All for having a different opinion and not afraid to voice it. That truly is pathetic. Apparently you are a leader of a pack of disruptive saboteurs, is this a new job, does it pay and can anyone join!

Hyperthetically of course.....but if AN starts the same team v boro as he did last night, and says they've earned their place on merit...what would your reaction be? Or do some still call for junior, junho, and haks to be brought in above Thompson, Johnson, and Leris? Leris?

We've won a game and this rubbish gets trotted out. People have opinions, some of them strong, it makes the board. Some of the abuse is atrocious It is, nearly, always the same people, those that have called for the heads of previous managers. Complete bunch of gammon.

Still a mental decision, stand by it. Relieved it worked but equally never want to see it again. It’s hardly self sabotage though is it?

He made an obvious sub (a bit late tbh) well done Alex. I’m far from his biggest fan. He’s a long way to go before he convinces me. But it seems a bit desperate to pick fault with his management of the team in a win over genuine top two contenders. He picked a team to do a job. We were the best team in the first half, showed character in the second. Rode our luck then kicked on in the last ten to get an excellent win. Throw in a clean sheet against a team scoring for fun and it looks like a job well done by management and team.

We were ambling towards a defeat. We looked laboured and started giving the ball away which lead to the penalty. Thankfully they missed but the manager got lucky - we needed the subs earlier. Lets not dress it up as a tactical masterclass eh.

A bit of luck and the manager made a couple of selections that paid off. Sadly the loss of Travers puts us back in the shit.
