Very sad, a genuine football fan, who loved EFC and truly wanted to do the best for them.

RIP. Some Everton fans really pissed me off when they had a go at him. In the car park, surrounding him, shouting abuse. Shame on them.
Seemed a very decent guy who clearly loved his club.

Mmmm. I think it’s probably best if we steer clear from slamming those Everton fans who criticised him and tried to force him out.
People in glass houses and all that…

As you say, we digress.

RIP Loved the blues. Some of the treatment of him over the last couple of years was very unfair.

RIP Bill Should be remembered for his work in Theatreland as well as with Everton. Sure I've seen some of his musicals .❤❤ Not just musicals, His production company regularly presented murder mysteries at the Opera House in Manchester. Had some great nights, he will be missed in the theatre industry big time.

This is such sad news. I have met Bill on a number of occassions when I had involvement in performing arts in Liverpool. He was hugely supposrtive and a lovely chap. His love for his football club never diminished and it was hardly his fault that he wasn't a mega rich chairman with unlimited wealth to pour into Everton. RIP Bill
