Tomorrow and after subsequent games there will be a bus going to Stoke station (not just Stoke church) leaving at 5.25, due at the station at 5.40. I raised this with the Club following requests/complaints from fans, particularly those trying to get the 5.53 London train. Increased extra time this season has made the problem worse. I would like to thank Anthony Emmerson for sorting the problem. I understand that there will be a separate queue and stewards will be briefed to direct supporters going to the station to it. Only a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but one which will hopefully make a big difference to those fans getting the train.

That's great. Fair play to the club for listening to this and taking action.
Will a similar bus be in place for night games?

Malcolm, As one of those rushing to get the 5.53, that's fantastic news. Thanks ever so much for campaigning for us rail travellers & fair play to Stoke for listening.

When VAR comes to the Championship, or indeed we get promoted, matches generally finish around 5PM...This will still be tight...

I think we'll be fine in that front for a bit By the time we get into the Prem under Neil, hover car congestion will be the issue

One of the issues that stops me getting to home matches is the walking between the station and the bus (and visa versa). Your consideration for fellow fans is most appreciated. Hope you are keeping well. All's well north of York, regards.

Does anyone use the Newcastle Bus after the match? I catch it from Stoke but and used to jump on Newcastle Bus and get off half way up Hartshill bank, however last season I went to do the same and skipped going through Stoke and up through Shelton New Rd so went back to getting Stoke bus.
Is there two different routes for Newcastle buses at different times or has the route permanently changed?
I've looked on Stoke website and First bus no info on exact route it takes from what I can see.
