Rowett is the worst manager stoke have ever had. As we thought at the time, it's taking years to recover from what he did Probably correct but, Any Club that sanctions the purchase of ImbuIla, Berrahino and Wimmer to the tune of Circa £55 Million has bigger internal problems than their ineffective managers? The prize money for our finishes and TV was quite good so not all bad

Would I swap Neil for Rowett? No way! Would I swap Neil for Eustace? Yes, I think I would actually.

Rowett won’t struggle to get another gig in the championship. Clubs will panic over Christmas as per usual and snap him up. Regardless of the pigs ear he made of the job here, he’s a very safe appointment for a club with upper mid table aspirations. Nailed on to take over at one of the strugglers and keep them above us. We’ll probably have to lose another two league games against him this season, despite already having lost to him once. Yep. On the plus side we might get something at Millwall next season if we play them. Or maybe just score a goal there for starters.

Sol Campbell is always 33/1 - whether it's next Pope, next James Bond or Millwall manager m.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/32414497Kevin Muscat 6/4 John Eustace 5/1 Mark Kennedy 8/1 Michael Beale 10/1 Nathan Jones 12/1 Lee Bowyer 14/1 Steve Cotterill 14/1 Dean Smith 16/1 Steve Evans 16/1 Joey Barton 20/1 Karl Robinson 20/1 Neil Warnock 20/1 Danny Cowley 25/1 Frank Lamapard 25/1 Leam Richardson 25/1 Neil Harris 25/1 Steve Morrison 25/1 Sol Campbell 33/1 What a depressing list. Bloody glad we've not sacked AN given the alternatives, although Cotterill and Jones are tempting...

Yep Rowett really did us over with his spending spree but his points per game at Stoke was 1.34, Neil’s is 1.19.
Yet another remarkable stat in Neil’s tenure.

Because he's taken them as far as he can and the supporters are tired of being served up football to make your eyes bleed by a chippy little fucker who seems to be under the impression he's the second coming of Helenio Herrara, rather than a jobbing hoof merchant who's probably going to end up at somewhere like Rotherham.

Like Lambert he was here to make some of those on prem contracts unwelcome and show them the door...a hollow gesture as many ( wimmer ? Berahino? Clucas ? ) knew they couldn't get anywhere near their salary at anywhere other than Stoke .
The recruitment team wasted millions here during Rowett's tenure. How big a part of that recruitment team GR was , I really don't know.
I think he won't be short of offers . Which is right . He did a good job at Millwall.
The list of possible replacements for Rowett is uninspiring but I think Joey Barton would go down well with Millwall fans .
Barton has played in the Prem and Europe and is an intelligent man . He has more about him than tabloid newspapers make out .
But I think the fact he grew up in circumstances not dissimilar to the old Millwall's fan base , would go down well with some of their older hardcore fans .
He might be a good choice for Millwall. He is a modern man, but not someone to belittle or distance himself from Millwall's old fan base.

Also Colin at 20-1 a marraige made in hell

I think, perhaps like MoN and Stoke, things just ground to a halt and weren't going anywhere for Rowett and Millwall Both did a tidy job, steadying the ship in difficult times and avoiding far from unrealistic relegation. But having done that , didn't seem awash with ideas for the even trickier bit of what to do next . That said, I am sure there will be teams happy to settle for steadying the ship and avoiding relegation, in the near future.
