Thought the ref yesterday was one of the better ones we’ve had.
Still find they blow up way to easily though when players go to ground with minimum contact.

Agree with this, thought he reffed well and considering he’s reffing Man Utd v Man City on Sunday I suppose it’s pressure off last night. Still not seen any replay off the Leris penalty appeal either🤔why did he go down so easily if he could have got a shot away?

Still not seen any replay off the Leris penalty appeal either🤔why did he go down so easily if he could have got a shot away? I watched it on the box. At first sight I thought penalty but on replay was not. I think Leris was simply losing his balance so tried to buy the penalty. There was the slightest of tugs by the defender but it wasn’t a penalty. He just lost his balance after what would have otherwise been a great turn. Thought the ref was decent and he in fact missed a couple of fouls on them which made him even better!

Last two games the foul stats:
Sunderland. 17 against, 9 for. Leeds. 16 against, 11 for.
I genuinely think this is evidence of a clear agenda against us as neither game reflected that.

The Leeds ref started well, but got progressively not so good. Our penalty shout I've seen given, but wouldn't complain too much. Leeds one no question although I do think Pearson slipped.... Still a peno though. Did wonder where 5 mins ET came from, although that's not the ref. Overall, yes he did seem one of the better ones, but that has to be seen in the context of a sea of shite. I'd score him a 5/10.

In that case then he can have a 3/10 and he's a twat 😂

I thought the referee had a good game. Did not impose himself on the game like Bell. He could have allowed advantage a few times but overall was very good.

I think we definately need to look at employing Tom Daley as we just don’t seem to get the same number of free kicks as the opposition.
