Marty Hopkirk. Saw the very first episode of "Randall and Hopkirk deceased" a few months ago and he said he had to wait 100 years before returning to the grave. The programme went out in 1968, 55 years ago...

They also looked expensively made in colour(!) with well known casts, and flash locations. A era where TV took a few risks. Compare and contrast with the BBC who had no answer to this kind of thing.

Didn't Reeves & Mortimer do a remake of this, and it was cack?

In the first episode, Hopkirk (the dead one) keeps appearing but has to return to the grave by nightfall or whatever. For some reason he has to stop out late to help his mate Randall (the living one). As he doesn't return to the grave in time he is doomed to stay out for 100 years. Apparently. Which is a bit rough if the dead want to go a-haunting. Don't blame me. Its in the rules.

Soylent Green was set in 2022 and we still have tomatoes and vegetables unfortunately. Don't believe everything on TV. Mr Bronson wasn't even a real teacher

Randall and Hopkirk, The Persuaders, The Champions, The Protectors. All great TV back in the day and all with great theme tunes. Don't make em like that anymore.
