Please take over from your brother. We need new direction. Thanks Please give up running a multi billion enterprise to run a business you have no interest in. That's going to fly

She doesn’t have to run it, just appoint competent people to do it for her with a proper plan and structure in place. Won’t happen mind.

Think she could get someone like she’s does at BET365 to do the donkey work and be in the background calling the shots.
John obviously… is being blagged and mopping it up.
There’s obviously a big problem.. AN, rowatt, MON are not bad managers, but all failed and failing.
The problem is deeper

The club have gone down the exact direction a cabal of posters have been urging for years - a technical director and a head of recruitment.
Now another cabal are urging another change in direction.
Too much change in my humble opinion.

If Denise took over heads would roll and we would be in a bigger mess than we are now. Easy to sack incompetence, difficult to enroll competence. Thankfully it will hopefully never happen.

If we stick with whoever is currently calling the shots we’re obviously going nowhere apart from south.

I’ve no idea how BET365 is run.
But obviously she employs the right people and knows how to deal and align with them.
Her brother doesn’t have a clue how to run this football club.
Sad truth

There’s obviously a big problem.. AN, rowatt, MON are not bad managers, but all failed and failing. The problem is deeper AN, Rowett and MON absolutely are poor managers at Stoke if results are anything to go by. You can blame John Coates for appointing them if you wish but it is not his job to motivate the players, determine the strategy or tactics of the games. It is his job to support the manager and I think he has done that with all of them. You may even argue that the club needs a reorganisation but even that has nothing to do with our inability to win football games with the players we currently have. At the moment, AN is not getting the best out of his players and with the exception of 4-5 games in March he has failed to do so for a year. It is his problem to solve...unless we sack him first!

Problem is the new manager always has the keys to he kingdom and is allowed the rip everything out and the next guy in 18 months is allowed to do the same. You can’t have completely new squad and coaches every 18 months. You need some kind of stability. This is shite management from upstairs.

The good teams have a nucleus of a squad and change say 5,6 players per season.
How many do we change?
Zero stability and no identity.
Fucking zero.

Who did you want to construct it, if not the manager. Maybe the chairman JC himself? Maybe a CEO like Scholes appointed by JC...Oh wait! We've seen the results of that approach. Or maybe a technical director again appointed by JC given free reign to appoint whoever he chose, We asked for radical change - we got radical change. Results currently aren't good enough, this was the risk of what this season was going to becomes. Hopefully things will improve soon including an injured list that would cripple the majority of championship clubs.

We got another system full of the manager's mates. Who did I want to do it? Our owners have 8 fcuking billion pounds to their name and the best they could do is appoint the mate of their manager as a Technical Director? Idle, bone idle. You reap what you sow in this sport.

I think this is the modern solution and any other doesn't really work. The vin is responsible for all the 'experts', medical, scouting networks etc etc in the staffING positions, and the manager fits the philosophy. If the manager is in charge of all that, then he will probably depart in what? 2 years meconium, then you are left to clean up all the failing shit he leaves behind, which is where we find ourselves time and time again. I think our failure is endemic with the owners not knowing how to run a football club sadly.

No matter which way you slice it, it's become increasingly evident that this club simply will not progress under the current ownership.
They need removing before the damage they're inflicting via their continual mismanagement of this famous old club becomes too much for any other party (with the slightest of clues of how to run a football club moderately successfully) to turn around.
I'll get called out and mocked for this stance no doubt but believe you me, there's only one way we're heading with 'The Family' at the helm.

Has the club not taken the relevant steps this summer to suggest they are attempting to create the right structure? This summer the owners stepped up a level since relegation by creating a more modern footballing business structure. We are being punished for not having another left back and centre back in the squad right now and a crazy amount of injuries, an abnormal amount.
