When it goes for MOT law abiding garages have to report any trace of red diesel to customs and excises people. Be warned that traces of red diesel remain in the filters, tank and system for ages so dont think that a couple of tanks of cosher fuel will rid it of the red stuff.

They can run cars on hydrogen or water now with the outputs opposite to each other (hydrogen outputs steam, water outputs hydrogen) they proved it a while back when icelandic buses were running on hydrogen and were filled up with hydrogen gas. The only thing stopping cars shifting over to this is greed, its like on one hand oil companies are like "we want to help the earth... so long as you're still using our oil" unfortunately now adays most petrol stations are part of oil company franchises, which means who gets the final say on what fuel is provided?
They've proven time and time again that it can be done, they just don't want to do it. Same with most things in life really, they could switch to more energy efficient power supplies, they just don't want to.

'When it goes for MOT '
Being as the number of uninsured, untaxed cars seems to be rising I'll wager that they won't be taking their cars to be MOT'd?

Same with most things in life really, they could switch to more energy efficient power supplies, they just don't want to. Please explain how you can run a car on water? I am perfectly clear with the hydrogen concept, (gives of water vapour, which you could call steam). But running a car on water? I don't thinks so. If you link to that stupid website which shows some crap american inventor claiming it, I won't even bother opening it. To crack water (split it into its atomic components) to hydrogen and oxygen, you need a hell of a lot of energy, (more than you get back by recombining them in a hydrogen powered car). This is the reason hydrogen powered cars aren't so common yet. There is the problem of getting hydrogen first (need a green energy (electricity) supply first, otherwise it just means the pollution happens elsewhere other than from the car) as well as storing it. Unless by water powered car you mean one with a big tank full of water on it, then open the cork and the force of the water squirting out backwards propels you forwards. ;D

Fair enough. Someone with a degree told you. However I am telling you it is bullshit. I hate doing this (saying what I do), but I have a degree too, in chemistry. I am almost finished in a PhD, so hopefully, you will believe me over them. Honestly, water powered cars is on the same level as quack medicine and unicorns.

London brent crude above $143 a barrel today , it jumped the other day after Israel threatened to attack Iran, imagine what will happen if they actually go head and do it, Iran would cut off the straights of Hormuz and prices will rocket to well over $200. Listen to the only sane man left in washington explain

It's fucking wank!!
Paid 119.9p a litre at Tesco in Meir Park this morning.
I have to go to Rugeley in a bit which is about a 60 mile round trip. Work (via those wankers at HMRC) will pay me 11p a mile for the privilege - thats £6.60 back.
I am therefore making a loss!!
In 2005 petrol was 87.9p a litre with a 10p per mile claim back.
Now its 119.9p a litre with an 11p per mile claim back.
Governemnt c(_)nts!
