Why didn’t he call it “He’s bald, he’s bent, his arse is up for rent”? Would have made a cracking title for a book

I remember him failing to step up and leaving Kevan to be caretaker manager. Also think he was doing Coates's dirty work when the Icelandics were in charge. Note gate was a rum affair.

Reading the extract from the book describing Regis stuck in the mud on the six yard line open goal miss. I remember that to this day.

He should never, ever, have been allowed to step foot inside our club. He has/had no affinity for it at all.

Hoekstra and big Sergei are probably his most meaningful player contributions. We can, however, thank him for the Owen contract fiasco.

Took my Dad for his hearing aid check-up yesterday and John Rudge was the person in before him.
Spoke to us for about 5mins - seemed a nice enough bloke...

"I also remember a Stoke fanzine described chairman Bill Bell as ‘dedicated to making Vale the number one team in the Potteries’, but continued, ‘Bill also wants to find the lost city of Atlantis, be the first man to walk the Channel and skateboard up Mount Everest.’
So, it was a particularly sweet moment when we took the lead five minutes after the break through Earle, who latched on to a Jeffers pass to turn and net in front of our ecstatic fans."

Give me Bossie over the plethora of shit managers we’ve had since relegation, including the current incumbent, every day of the week.
