Yesterday Sweden beat Italy away by 1-0 in the Women's Nations League.
Anyone saw it or any other game in the Nations League?
Good for Sweden with three points in the run for the Olympics in Paris in 2024. I believe Spain beat Switzerland on the other hand though.
Lina Hurtig was voted among the five best players but she was very clumsy and made two dangerous tackles/collisions. She stretched and hold her shoe up towards a running player and the second time she headbutted/collided with an Italian player. Both situation looked very ugly. Afterwards she complained mostly about the referee. She didn't even get a yellow card. That should have been the complaint!
She was bad defensively and didn't move enough.
Some people commented negatively on her in the game vs Spain, but she was much worse, actually awful vs Italy.
So how they thought she was terrific yesterday is beyond reality.
According to me, the best players were Kaneryd who scored the winner and Blackstenius who ran her socks off. The media said Blackstenius wasn't good. Seriously? She also got the blame for not scoring. Well, if she doesn't get the passes, whose fault is that?
