When someone is 'offended', nothing actually happens to them. And if you capitulate to this mob, they will never be satiated. Correct. No one on this planet has a right to not be offended. Being offended is part of life, if someone is scared of being offended they should just become a hermit and never leave the house. I don't care who I offend, I never go out with the intentions of trying to offend anyone. Offending people isn't my aim, but if what I say offends someone it's quite simply tough shit. I won't be careful with my words and I'll tell him how I see it, if someone is offended by that they can take a ticket, join the queue and kiss my pretty white arse ☺ Channeling your inner Ann Widdecombe with that quote mate

And you're the arbiter of decency are you? There are people (including women and children) who use this forum who will be extremely offended by the language you've used in your post, regardless of what you, I or anybody else thinks of Laurence Fox or Dan Wooton. This is something I’ve noticed a lot on the Oatcake. Regardless of whether you dislike someone for justifiable reasons the need to call someone a c*@t isn’t a great look. I’m not sure whether it’s said to say that they hate someone more than the next person but for me there’s too much hate in the world, isn’t easier to just disagree or dislike especially if you’ve never met the person in question. Not nice when used in a hateful manner at all. I understand some people don't like the word too. Personally I love it when used in a jokey manner but can see why it may offend others. Guess this explains why the epic "supermarket cunt moves" thread was closed then lol.

It would be fantastic if folk could actually move beyond tribal 'X Factor/Big Brother' personality likes or dislikes 'pick a side' mindset, and consider ramifications for a change. You are living in an increasingly tyrannical State, with Ofcom as the Ministry Of Truth, and coppers now a full-on thought police stasi. Which you apparently fully support. I couldn't care less whether folk like or agree with Fox, or whether they think he's a cnut. It's irrelevant.

Any idea if she's still here? In personal dealings I've found Snell far more forthcoming with actual views, I didn't agree with those views but at least he put some forward. Gideon's correspondence, all of it, was just representative of her personality as a whole - beige.

Snell was voted back in at the 2017 snap election with the promise to the people he represented that he would respect and uphold the wish for Brexit to happen, he then consistently blocked it and voted against it until the very last second when he knew he was going to lose his seat and he voted for a deal so he could try and claim he had voted for Brexit, the stupid oaf forgot that his voting record was publicly available and he lied saying he had never voted against it... he failed to represent his constituents some further reading on our next mp: skwawkbox.org/2022/08/04/exclusive-stoke-central-members-full-complaint-and-evidence-about-snell-selection-stitch-up/i shall spoil my vote at the next election, like many others i am politically homeless these days

Seems to me she's been drawing an MP's salary for very little by way of effort or commitment, haven't heard of any MPs surgeries that she's held despite repeated requests to her personally. Snell/labour would be far from my first choice too, however in the absence of a Green or Lib-Dem candidate it'll be where my vote goes, just to rid of us of the unmitigated disaster of a government we currently have.

No shift in the odds so far 😕 Thought at least some would be putting their money where their typing fingers are. How about Big Nige? Could he win his first ever election at the 8th attempt? He's at a massive 150/1 and that probably won't be around long, he's a popular guy..

Edit- I see you've admitted you're a liar. See you were still posting across various EE threads last night while the match was on. Not very normal working bloke.

Fox is charged with conspiring to commit tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage to ULEZ cameras. Now let’s replace Laurence Fox with a Just Stop Oil protestor because one quick look at the thread on here shows clearly that the reaction would be very different……
