If those sort of prices become the norm there will be a new league started up by the working classes eventually.
People on lower income who love the game won't be able to afford to attend nor pay the rocketing sky sports prices.
The choices will be illegal stream or start a new affordable league.

All football-related prices are ridiculous in the leagues.
This, however, is particularly horrific...

Until Fulham were taken over by Mr Al Fayed in the late 1990s they had been bumbling around the lower leagues for years. According to this, they had only spent 12 years in the top flight prior to that takeover: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Fulham_F.C._seasons

Aa extortionate as those prices are, they'll still have plenty of people queueing up to buy them.

I sat in the stand earlier this season. Had no idea they cost that much. Good view. Large seats with leg room (compared to The Brit). Perhaps explains the rich and mainly foreign clientele in the stand.
It was nice having a beer outside on the terrace overlooking the Thames at halftime.
Just reading this back I think I’ve lived down south too long. 🫣

They are but if they sell out then who are we to argue? It's a microcosm of society. Build expensive flats in the shit hole areas of cities and people will still buy them. The less wealthy who may have lived there for all of their life will then be priced out of said area.
