They are excellent defensively and will sit deep and try and hit us on the break. The kind of game we regularly lost 1-0 last season, so the question is how do we do what we failed too multiple times last season and break down this type of opposition. The temptation will be to play Wesley which worries me as I think he’s looked dire to date, I think he might go with the following:
Travers
Hoever McNally Wilmot Gooch
Laurent Burger Johnson
Campbell Wesley Haksabanovic

I can’t believe how many games they’ve been out for. I thought Pearson was excellent tonight Im just hoping that Neil doesn’t do what I fear and bring in Thompson (don’t be surprised if he does) as that will kill the crowd as soon as his names read out. For me I’d go Travers Hoever Rose Wilmot Gooch Burger Laurent (by default) Johnson Bae Hacks Campbell

We should win this one, Hull barely got a kick at home to 10-man Leeds tonight.
It's certain we will dominate possession, but can we turn it in to 3 points?

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet so it just depends if we can break down their dogged defence.
I don't have any faith in this side at the moment, we knock it around well but are nowhere near good enough at either end of the pitch, and that's where matches are won and lost.

For the love of fuck don’t boo Liam Delap. Why is that Bayern, are you and him quite close or something? Because he will thrive off it and score the winner? And actually doesn’t deserve booing in the first instance but mainly the first thing:

For the love of fuck don’t boo Liam Delap. Also there’s no need to boo him, a young player on loan not quite cutting it for us does not merit booing him whatsoever.

I think I would go with the same set up as last night. Spend the rest of the week on practicing defending without the ball.
We created enough chances to put 4 away last night. Being at home you would hope we will put some of those chances away.
Pearson will be a big miss.

There is no point in playing Wesley in games where we have the majority of the ball. We need more creative players up top that can open a defence.
Potentially a front 4 of Campbell with Haksabanovic and Junho either side and Johnson just behind.
If Vidigal and Mmae are back then even better.

Campbell up top in a 2 with Haks just isn't the way forward though given how often we lumped the ball up in the air playing three centre backs.

If players are fit I'd go with Travers Junior Mcnally wilmott gooch Thompson (I presume Pearson has a one match ban) Burger Juhno Campbell Mmaae Vidigal Harsh on the Celtic lad I know. I think the movement in that forward line could cause problems, just hope they could turn the problems into goals. We could go more conservative but WTF we've tried everything else! Edit, probably start with Johnson and keep JunHo on bench to come on for him if need be.

I thought Campbell was excellent last night Along with Pearson, Johnson, Gooch and the Celtic lad It was his best game , shame he drifted offside but harder for him to play there at home when the opposition sit deep , in an open game it is easier for him , needs balls to run on to

Leeds are a strong team but 558 passes (Leeds 412) suggests we did get a kick, here and there .. and the word 'dominate' is often misunderstood & over used by some football fans these days, don't you think?

The team depends a bit on players fitness, but I guess both Vidigal and Stevens are still out. If so I'd go like this:
......................Travers...................... Junior........Rose.............Wilmot........Gooch ......................Burger...................... ...........Laurent..............Johnson........... Campbell...............Wesley................Haksa
Subs from; Bonham, Hoever, McNally, Bae, Thompson, Leris, Gayle.

I think that we will go with a similar team to last night.
Jo-Hun will probably come in for the suspended Pearson.
