He can score some wonder goals on his day, always capable of a bit of magic. Looks a threat at times, but can dissappear too.
I rate him

The Laurent of the last 15 mins on Saturday is a cracking player, aggressive , driving, shooting , angry and generally looked up for it. Unfortunately the previous 80 mins he was totally ineffective, the wrong side of his CM oppo every time so they beat our press, quiet, slow, ponderous. Maybe he got a rollicking, maybe DJ coming on helped, or a formation change for us or even Norwich helped him, but we 100% can not have a captain so weak, lethargic and outplayed by his opponents right from the start of each match. He was a strange choice for captain but you're making out like it's a massively important role and it just isn't. Maybe, the days of Roy Keane are over but seeing a leader/s on the pitch would be nice. I liked seeing Bellingham and Foden having a go at each other on the pitch v Scotland, and Bellingham just having an argument with anyone who was n't up for it or up to his standards.

It would seem the common denominator for our woes,is the players who were with us last season,Laurent,Campbell, Wilmot & Thompson,
Wilmot makes too many mistakes & his passing is poor at best,Thompson is a league one player,Laurent & Campbell have it in them, whether they are just happy to pick up their pay cheques, who knows?
Maybe pick a side in the cup against Bournmouth with all our new signings,to see how we get on.

Laurent and Tyrese are best buddies aren't they? Not that it makes any difference. Bringing Thompson into the conversation is a bit irrelevant as no one thinks he's a first teamer whereas the others are, although one or all of them possibly shouldn't be, and yet Willmott is rated by Neil and Laurent was made Captain.

Ive simply had more than I can take of him.
Haven't disliked a Stoke footballer as much for a long time.
Horrible player.

Absolutely abysmal again, losing every individual battle against players half his size and constantly giving the ball away.

I stuck up for him the other day but that was awful He's so f***** casual, its just negligence. He's totally unreliable, and reliable is the one thing a captain should be.

Burger to be captain? Laurent was so bad I'd take Baker as captain again on Sunday. Oof.

It seemed like all our forward play ended once Laurent got the ball. Some thoroughly disappointing stuff today. Seems like the armband has got to his head. What the hell was that shot 4 mins from the end, from Baes through ball??

Never seen a player back out of a tackle so often. It’s like having 2 Tyrese Campbells on the pitch. He should be stripped of his captaincy tonight.

Was a joke tonight, played as if he was in a lads n dads game at the local park. You can't play like that, let alone captain like it.

He’s not an attacking midfielder, he got into better positions than Burger his final ball is pants, it’s not his game Pearson Burger/ Laurent plus an AM is not a problem.

An impartial observer, Alan McInally (covering the game for Sky) was purring about his performance and called him “one of the best players in the division”.

He's great for the opposition I'll give him that.
He's totally not tuned in to any of the rest of our play, any move where there is some momentum building, he kills the momentum. He's casual in possession, gives the ball away in dangerous positions under little pressure. Get's knocked off the ball too easily.
He must talk the talk on the training ground and in the dressing room, but what happens in the pitch is insipid.
