We have a defence where our centre halves are bang average , feel this is an area where recruitment has been really woeful , meanwhile Liam Lindsay sits top of the league and people said he was shit when he was here Tbf McNally has surprised me so far, I was expecting more from him after last season. He was managed by a very good manager last season

There's too many bluffers in this squad. No leaders or fight in them. No chance of a top half finish with this lot. The manager hasn't a clue and we're looking at another poor season.

He reminds me of Clucas but without the attitude.
He comes across as a nice guy but he’s a very beige player the majority of games with the odd excellent performance thrown in.
Not enough to warrant his place though.
I’m not quite sure what the current midfields about. There’s a definate absence of a creator.

He's capable of being a top championship midfielder but for whatever reason he's incapable of doing it on any sort of regular basis which is a massive shame.
Maybe being dropped for a few games might get his arse into gear.

Burger looks the most like a leader we have, but it's early days for him, if it was true that Neil made him captain to keep him at the club, it may come back to burden him. I would on the evidence so far get Gooch in the midfield somewhere, somehow, looks to have some bottle.

It usually is Wilmot’s fault tbf. We have a defence where our centre halves are bang average , feel this is an area where recruitment has been really woeful , meanwhile Liam Lindsay sits top of the league and people said he was shit when he was here Are you trying to pretend he wasn't crap when he was here?

Just another nothing display from him,he will have another good game in about 2/3 games time, then revert back to being a nothing player for half a dozen games.

I’m his biggest critic normally, as he’s got the potential to be class at this level. But, don’t think he deserves any shit after yesterday, he played well I thought. He got about the pitch well. Don’t think he works well with Pearson though and long term, he isn’t the answer.

Josh is out of his depth, I don’t think it’s his fault particularly.
Elephant in the room is Pearson has made a pretty dreadful start to the season. He needs dropping.

Seemed like a real over reaction to hook him and drop him for a very debatable incident that other players surely had a hand in.

The fact he consistently plays Laurent and Campbell means we are not going to be a happy set of fans this season. AN is starting to grate on me a tad. And an appearance of Gayle in every match in the last 20 minutes, complete waste of time.

Pearson hasn't been as good as he looked last season, but he's been good most games he's played. Nothing spectacular, just doing his job mopping up. And getting stupid yellows, but I'm impressed he hasn't been sent off yet

The Laurent of the last 15 mins on Saturday is a cracking player, aggressive , driving, shooting , angry and generally looked up for it. Unfortunately the previous 80 mins he was totally ineffective, the wrong side of his CM oppo every time so they beat our press, quiet, slow, ponderous. Maybe he got a rollicking, maybe DJ coming on helped, or a formation change for us or even Norwich helped him, but we 100% can not have a captain so weak, lethargic and outplayed by his opponents right from the start of each match.

He was a strange choice for captain but you're making out like it's a massively important role and it just isn't.
