The team looks very different if all four of those are injured or available.

We do have strength in depth, however uneven (GK and LB are very low on cover). If there's any doubt, with the run of games coming up, I would rather they were given a bit more time and then unleashed in midweek. Better that than risking a setback which rules them out for longer (see Tezgel's recent woes).
Are Baker and he available now?

To be honest, I wouldn’t have been against them starting anyway. GK is the biggest worry with Bonham our only cover. If he does then hopefully he has one of his good games in ten.

Burnley signed 11 foreign players from abroad last summer and January. I don't know what point he's trying to make there?

I'm confused by this. Do overseas players not play away games? If you read the press conference in full this is a mixture of quotes from different questions. What he actually says is: Neil: Yes. When we've been doing all our recruitment, I think you've got a lot of guys for the here and now, players who don’t need a lot of time to settle in. Then you've got other guys who are coming from different countries, or guys at different age groups. Neil: I think that you get to find out more about them now they’re in the building. They are contending with a hell of a lot of things which we don’t always appreciate because we expect them to walk up, get on the pitch and produce. Some of them are contending with a new language, some of them speak really good English but it’s still a second language to them. They’re moving to a new area, getting used to a new culture, getting used to this level of intensity and training, getting used to the level of teams in the Championship. So as you can see he actually isn’t implying at all players from abroad don’t play away fixtures he’s just making the point it might take them time to settle and get used to a new league.

I'm all aboard HMS Piss the league but the new lads will definitely take time.

Yeah that reads more like he's taking the pressure off the new lads. I feared it was his way of telling us not to expect anything too cosmopolitan in the upcoming away games.

You've lost me, I couldn't agree more with him. I think he makes a very valid point about being unfortunate with a couple of injuries so soon as it would be ideal to have a consistent base to get going. I bet its a difficult job both for manager and players when theyre trying to settle chopping and changing players so early when you've got so many new ones, you want a base to go off, a little early consistency in playing staff If you're saying I sound just like him i'll take that as a big compliment, thanks haha

Reading between the lines with intensity mentioned makes me think so many foreign players new to English football getting used to the intensity could be a bit of a hurdle early doors, not technically but physically, we might see a few strain injuries early doors which could be a bit of a concern
