I don't care what anyone says, that night was emotional / special and it showed we WERE a team from the manager to the terraces to the players.

One of Stoke's modern day legends with the likes of Fuller, Whelan, Walters, Sorro, Ryan and Huth.

And what a night it was, when TP ran in the ground was bouncing, the whole atmosphere changed, shows what can happen when we all stick together, TP was the glue.

Was quite brilliant from TP and his presence in the second half won us the game, of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

It's not often 'the script' goes our way. That one did, and perfectly.
Such a mint night.

I will be forever grateful to TP for what he did for us as a club. Sure he made mistakes but I would love that time back.

My goodness, what a man!
Am I the only person on the planet who liked that kit?
The deep red made us look like a serious outfit, in contrast to the insipid pink we get served up these days.
Bring that Adidas kit back and we might have half a chance, if not at least we would be taken seriously.

Why was Downing giving it beans to Block 19? Probably as a result of the “if Downing plays for England so can I “ chant

Bring that Adidas kit back and we might have half a chance, if not at least we would be taken seriously. I really disliked it to begin with as it was literally a club identikit that many Sunday league clubs will have worn the template of up and down the country. However it did grow on me as the season went on, especially with some great memories & moments with the main one being the starring role it created in the Wembley victory v Bolton, it kind of sealed its place in greatness for me. Once over the identikit aspect of it is forgiven, & once you were used to the plain back & kind of psychedelic stripes on the front, looking back it really wasn't as bad a kit as I'd first thought it was!

Worst kit we’ve ever had bar none, to provide some counterbalance to you barbarians

Now that TP has retired, it is time for the club to acknowledge formally the role he played in our elevation to the Prem and our only FA Cup Final.
I would love a statue of him on the touch line by the dugouts in his usual pose and clothing. Perhaps chucking a water bottle or it could be an interactive statue that shouts ‘go arn Jon’ every few minutes. I suppose it would be against the regulations but Derby have a statue by their dugouts.

Pulis absolutely knew what he was doing imho, and i bet the club knew as well when they announced he wasn't going to be there you just don't nip up from south Wales to arrive just in time for the 2nd half, he obviously wanted the effect probably his way of dealing with the situation of his mothers passing.
