Big yellow trucks with pulsating lights on the roof and an intrusive booming sound slowly brushing the streets at 1 a.m. every night! Can't they do it during the day instead? Do they have to do it at all?
They always wake me up. That's why I've decided not to fall asleep before they're gone. I'm amazed anyone could sleep.
Just moving particles(?) from one place to another. It seems pointless.
Just as meaningless as the leaf blowers.
Explain the utility.

We used to have road sweepers and drain cleaning trucks in Stoke on Trent. They’ve been replaced with potholes.

We used to have road sweepers and drain cleaning trucks in Stoke on Trent. They’ve been replaced with potholes. I did some digging and those potholes appear when rain hits the surface of the asphalt and the water becomes compressed due to heavy traffic and seeks its way into the layers, and it's easier if there are some cracks already in the older asphalt for the potholes to develop. But for example the night to today, we hadn't have any rain at all, it had been a sunny day. Couldn't they have done it at 9 p.m instead if 1 a.m?
