Rip it apart and start again. He left a shit show. Irrespective of what others say, I've got to agree with this!!! Apart from the half season he turned us around to avoid relegation, the rest of his time was mediocre at best, I was going home after matches feeling somewhat deflated..... AFTER A WIN!!! Weren’t many home wins last season. Just saying…

Results business and early results last season along with understandebly frustrated fans made the position untenable. That doesn't mean he didn't do a good job with the resources available. Alex Neil actually achieved a lower PPG last season than what we had before his appointment. One could argue that some such as yourself make Alex seem like a king amongst men. But talk will only get you so far - its the results which matter. Not really, it was you who decided I must love AN because I was critical of MON. I thought AN was a big disappointment last season but I thought his career before that and that brief upturn suggested he could deliver for us and MON’s poor transfer business meant he had to go because he was getting more and more confused. And that's a fair enough opinion. I didn't compliment his transfers in my post though - although I don't believe they're all as bad as some suggest either. You seem to think that because some people have a complimentary view of them that we all think he's a "king amongst men" and that we all must believe he's gone due to some "conspiracy". I also think it's difficult to compare the transfers between the two given one was tasked with making money and reducing expenditure while the other has had the biggest net spend in the division. They're not really comparable budgets.

They're not really comparable budgets. I just believe in being objective and seeing things warts and all rather than only focusing on one side or the other. MON still had a reasonably competitive budget by the standards of the division (which to his utmost credit he made for himself) and he didn’t use it well. In a division where Luton and Coventry contested the play off final I don’t think that’s a great look.

Weren’t many home wins last season. Just saying… Hardly surprising with the playing staff we had..... A MASSIVE clear out throughout was needed at the club, and it's been done this season, fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it's the start of an upward trend!!!

A MASSIVE clear out throughout was needed at the club, and it's been done this season, fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it's the start of an upward trend!!! Another bullshit excuse like the MoN defence. Neil had plenty of time to make the players better and got a lot of his own players in and was still shit. There are absolutely no excuses this season for not to finish in the top half.
