Does anyone on here go on other forums much from our championship peers?
I can't help but feel if another club was signing all these young exciting players from all over the world and making 2/3 announcements a week, while getting them for pretty much peanuts we would all be getting very jealous and worked up and crucifying stoke for not doing the same.
So I just wondered if anyone has seen much about us on other forums and if clubs are jealous / have noticed / if they even care.
Just thinking maybe we'll have a target on our back if we continue as evryone will be up for beating us if we're viewed as the club signing 'everyone'.

I haven’t heard of 9/10ths of the players we’re signing so I doubt anyone is really sitting up and taking notice.
For example I didn’t notice the Burnley revolution last year

Yeah agree, a lot of clubs are signing a random foreign players.
People have definitely taken notice of Vidigal though.

I haven’t heard of 9/10ths of the players we’re signing so I doubt anyone is really sitting up and taking notice. For example I didn’t notice the Burnley revolution last year Fair, I also didn't realise just how many signings burnley made last year until someone mentioned it on a thread recently. But, people on this forum are pretty well versed when it comes to our opposition and what they are up to, so it's fair to assume fans of other clubs also have a good grasp on the rest of the championship! |

I’m a sometime poster on the Blackburn board.. not been on for a while so thought I’d have a look and the main chatter on there, the player they’re most excited about potentially signing, is Danny Batth. I think that tells a story in itself about our respective windows

Average fans I don't think have really noticed because we haven't got many headline names which is good. Some of the pundits however are quietly excited about our transfer business. If its all going well by Christmas I think we will be on peoples radar and face more defensive set ups

I read an article on Football League World lauding Blackburn for their 'creative recruitment' despite only signing four. They were praised for having signed one from Plymouth, Netherlands, Russia and Norway saying they aimed to be in the playoffs again!!

I wonder if AN will play Vidi from the start knowing what Millwall are like? I guess they'd be expecting him to begin the match so there's nothing better than screwing up early tactics and protecting our player.

Have people been asleep for the first few games? Vidigal isn't some Palacios type waif that will blow away in the wind.
He's an aggressive player who's quite capable of sticking a bit back on the Millwall lot no problems.
