The link doesn't work, but they seldom do here.
Anyway ... it's a NO from me.

I suppose you make it a complete free for all or have separate competitions. Part of the issue imo is where the line is drawn for sport, what would the rules be on caffeine, sugar etc? As for 'super soldiers' - seems drug use has always been pretty rife in war situations. militaryhistorynow.com/2018/05/08/combat-high-a-sobering-history-of-drug-use-in-wartime/On the way to and during the first Gulf War every serviceman had to take NAPS tablets every 6 hours, none of us had any idea what was in them (still don't) but it was a chargeable offence not to take them. I wonder what the difference is apart from the fact that they weren't psychoactive?

We all know the usual Olympic athletes ‘juice’ but on a cycle.
I’m actually excited to see this (excluding combat sports) it will be interesting to see how much the human body can do when pushed to its absolute limits, to put it crudely, it’s like F1, but for humans😅

I personally don’t really have that much of a problem with steroids etc. I don’t think it’s right to take them in a competition that bans them as I am sure that there are those that won’t. However, no playing field is even. There are reasons why Russia, China and the U.S. dominate the Olympics and it’s not just steroids (or more steroids). It’s the money spent on training and technology as well.
For something like this, I don’t mind. If they want to push their limits to the maximum, let them. Just don’t make the results a new world record. The athletes themselves will understand all about risk. If they want to make an informed decision to do it, then they should be allowed to. They will not be working any less hard than those who don’t take steroids etc.

Having read about the risks through EPO use etc I don't understand the desire personally but I don't deny it'd be interesting to see.
I think that's a great point about world records remaining sacrosanct, as much as they can.

I'd definitely watch a race where they run 100m in <5s and then have their hearts explode as they vomit up their lungs.

It's a shame because sport can be such a force for good and a way to get the ordinary population more healthy.
This seems the exact opposite and an awful role model for our youngest who already have body image issues. All those East German athletes now have terrible health issues and the women had awful fertility and some with deformed children. Not to mention the link between sexual abuse and violence from steroid use.
I suppose I should expect nothing better from the fucked up world we are creating.
