Got a few days in Madrid in December so been waiting eagerly for the La Liga fixtures to come out.. sure enough Real are at home, with the added bonus it's against Villarreal so there's a good chance our own Stokie-Chileno Brereton Díaz might be playing.. my nine-year-old will be beside himself.
Sooooo... has anyone got any clue as to how the hell I'm gonna snare tickets for that?

My nephew got 3 tickets for the real v atletico? game about 5 weeks ago. They were very high up and the tickets cost €150 each. I'll ask him where he got them.

The Bernabéu is still operating at a reduced 57,000 capacity and I believe the work is meant to be complete in October/November with the official opening ceremony pencilled in for December.
I guess that could be the crucial factor if it's the first game in the "new" stadium tickets might be like rocking horse shit.
Looking on the internet though I think you'll get tickets providing you're prepared to stretch your budget a bit (a lot)

It was quite amazing and the designers are brilliant at what they do.

Is that legit? No idea how these third-party sites work really

All La Liga clubs have tickets for sale on their website. They don't go on sale until the kick off time is confirmed after the tv schedule confirmed which is normally about three weeks before the game. The only team without an online sales portal is Rayo Vallecano where you have to go to the ticket office .
I don't think you will have too much trouble getting a ticket . I have travelled regularly to Spain to see La Liga games and its never been a problem.

Everything went OK. We were very high up, well named vomitorium. Crap game against Almeria, the players looked like ants from there. But an experience, and getting to and from the game was much better than it is at Stoke even with that sort of crowd.

When I went a few years ago we just turned up at the ticket office and got 12 tickets there and then. Pretty sure you can buy them online easily enough though.

Last time I went, I went over to a group of what looked like a load of ultras and asked for a ticket for me and my mate. One guy said “sure, 20 euros”. He took us through the turnstile and walked us to our seats bang in the middle behind the goal. If you don’t ask you don’t get😉

I've been to Madrid twice and what few ticket that were available were more than I was willing to pay.
