i read a fascinating paper recently that was pure sci fi but with maths to back up the theory or so it said, i didnt understand the maths at all, its basic premise was based around what happens inside a black hole and it was theorised that they intersect time and space and suns in the universe are actually the exit of a black hole popping out at another point in time and space and the death of a star is actually preceded by the event horizon of the black hole closing/consuming all matter it can in its own time
purely sci fi but it does make you wonder

There could be a massive White hole at the other end waiting to spit it out again.

Might not be dead, just living an alternative lifestyle in another multiverse where it meets itself (everything, everywhere all at once anybody?)
