It's hard to capture in a sentence.
The season we sacked the manager after 6 games and saw no improvement.
The season we lost to Morecambe in the League cup.
The season we looked good for three and a half games.
The season of the equal most home defeats in our history.
That weird season punctuated with a World Cup.
Who knows but whoever at the club chose the date for that meet JC, AN and the new Tech D evening was a genius. Any other date and they'd have been lynched 😆

My first season ticket since the season prior to when we got promoted to the PL. It’s been awful and made worse by the owners and manager seeming to be ok with it. Hopefully I remember it in a good way, the bad before the good. I don’t hold out much hope though.

I will forever have a vision of away fans celebrating in our stadium week after week😡Also on a personal note I’ll remember the unbeaten run(thankfully) whilst I was in South America for a month and receiving What’s App messages/updates from my eldest daughter of the Sunderland away game as I sat on a KLM flight to Rio
