Coming out at the end of the Coventry game I though 'hello - there's something special going on here' 'we may well finally have a team to be proud of'
How wrong was I - the capitulation since then has been utterly shambolic and no one is more culpable than Alex Neil. Seeing Sunderland make the play offs is the final straw for me and I would be more than happy to see Neil now replaced.
Dreadful season - utterly dreadful

Ignored the entire game , didn’t watch , didn’t listen , avoided Sky Sports etc etc......and guess what I discover even just looking at the score at the end of the match drains the living daylights out of me.

Fewest points since we got relegated, fucking dreadful the state of this club. Managers come, managers go, none of them have really made a difference. That only means one thing to me, the people who run this club are not very good at it. The people ruining the club is more suitable, since the idiot son took over we’ve somehow gotten worse. There’s always a scapegoat to deflect from him but surely he’s got to be made accountable

Just for context we will finish above Huddersfield on GD only. What, last seasons play off finalists?

A 70 something pensioner has come out of retirement for a couple of months and shown how to organise and motivate a pretty mediocre group of players. It wouldn't bother me if AN went tonight..if I didn't think John would be crawling through broken glass to get Steve Bruce. Get potter in If there was any realistic chance of that Neil's feet wouldn't touch the floor

A bit of perspective..today we have played with as much fluidity as we have for a long time. We can see we have the potential to be a really good side. Undone by a quality finish and a scuffed deflection, which sums up our season. With the right recruitment, a big if I know and we should be there or thereabouts next season.

Caught the last 5 minutes and that was enough for me, spent the day in Buxton with my 18 month grandson, watching him run around playing and laughing makes you realise there’s more too life than watching this shower of shit with a very shit manager

I don't expect anyone to be happy with this season, but everyone knows it was not AN's fault. Some fools still believe that he saved us from relegation. We just have to hope that either by luck or judgement he assembles a decent side for next year. PRAY.

He's failing miserably. I wouldn't give him another transfer window, he completely fucked the first one up. He's made us worse. Sack him.

What an end to the season! Not winning one of our 7 last games, losing our last 4 home games, ending with our worst total of points since we were relegated and in need of building an almost new team for next season! Well, it can hardly get any worse than this season anyway!

Plenty of Premiership clubs will likely be offering him a position, I would have thought.

Did we lose? I left as soon as their second hit the back of the net (and finally stopped giving a flying fuck about this torrid football club about 3 months ago*).
*only went today as I'd already paid for the ticket after agreeing to via WhatsApp group whilst in the midst of a ketamine binge that Shaun Ryder, Pete Doherty and Zammo from Grange Hill would describe as "a bit much".

How many games this season have we had more shots, more possession and more passes than the opposition.
Again today, dominated the stats.
One good thing. We didn't carry on the form from the Coventry game as at least we can fuck the vast majority of the squad off now

For all of those criticising Neil - and yes I know, it has hardly been great Are there any players in our team today that would get into Watford's? For that matter, are there many we have that would be starters in a top 10 Chamionship team? I very much doubt it in either case. This summer's recruitment really is everything now Not the way they are playing but I'd take a wager that swap Laurent, Campbell, Sterling for three of their players you would still say the same. It's the way they are organised that makes average players look better.

I didnt bother to look at the final score. That is how much interest i now have in this team. I will always support Stoke but this team/group need to be shown the door. Ta ra, cheerio and fuck right off. Thanks for nowt. Total frauds each and every one of them. I bet they had right old pisser on the way back to Stoke on Trent. Lou would have made them all walk back with no boots on. Shame on them all. Absolutely and the Manager doesn’t seem to be able to make a difference.

We just have to hope that either by luck or judgement he assembles a decent side for next year. PRAY. ? Not the manager's fault? Who's being organising and motivating them for the last nine months then. Perhaps you said the same about MON. I had more hope that MON would be successful here than I have with Alex Neil. He had five of his choice loan players since Christmas on top of some of the better players in the Championship (Wilmot, Campbell, Powell, Laurent) but still couldn't organise them to at least not lose at home. Of course it's his fault. I would be interested to know if any manager who took over a Championship club this season, including those who have subsequently been sacked, have had a worse record than Neil.
