New Premier League record.
I know the media frenzy over him will continue to go into overdrive, but Haaland really is something else isn't he?
He's got both the old school Shearer goal scoring ability mixed with the modern day athletic power. It never seems enough is enough and is almost disappointed at scoring once in a game.

Broke the record in a 4 game fewer season to boot…
Unreal.

Broke the record in a 4 game fewer season to boot… Unreal. If they had a better defence, they’d have walked this league. They conceded the same amount of goals in game 26/28 as they did the entirety of last season.

Broke the record in a 4 game fewer season to boot… Unreal. And there are still 5 games to play, and he hasn’t played in every game. Overall he’s done it in about 10 or 12 games fewer than Shearer I think

They conceded the same amount of goals in game 26/28 as they did the entirety of last season. Poor season for them (only 79 points so far, potentially 94) and other big teams! The reason little teams like Newcastle, Arsenal and the shit look like breaking into the top four. 🤭

I reckon the real test of Haaland's true goal scoring ability would be to put him in our front line, to see if he can do it on a cold wet Tuesday night in Stoke.

We're cursed with strikers and if he could manage to score regularly in a Stoke shirt he would immediately become the greatest striker of all time.

I will be interesting the see how he wants his career to go too. His style is suited to English football and given he's only 22 he could potentially break records like fun. Shearer has long been worried about Kane overtaking him but this lad could eclipse them both.

To think that had Spurs relented, City would have pissed away £100M on Kane instead of half that amount on Haaland. Or maybe they would have bought both, which is a terrifying thought.

Kane does all the bits Pep likes though, dropping deep etc. Ironically, City have become a different beast now they Pep has dropped his possesion principles and played to Haaland's stengths. But yes you're right, was madness to consider Kane for twice the money.

Think Kane would have scored many goals just like Haaland, he would have been playing with players who create endless chances for their forwards. On the money side Kane would have been twice the price but probably half of Haalands estimated £800000 a week.

What a disappointment to see we aren’t in the running.

Ask Norway how it works out for them... 21 goals in 23 games Including penalties, as he's the taker. Still very good, but injured for all the most important games. Against Spain in the last Euro qualifying match. Conspiracy theories abound that it was because Pep told him to prioritize the league, but I don't think that's true.

City fans all around the ground, some identified and attacked near us in the family area, the old one which was in the curve next to the Boothen.

I was just a kid mate but definitely remember parts of that day. I don't think I was the brightest then, it took ages for my brain to get what "we're relegated" meant. I knew there were other leagues from my sticker album but I didn't think they'd *actually* make us play the likes of Bristol Rovers.

I put £20 on him to bag 40+ Premier League goals before the season started at odds of 250/1.
It's safe to say my arse is now twitching.

Or maybe they would have bought both, which is a terrifying thought. Kane would have scored a lot more goals in a Man City shirt than he does for Spurs. The service he would get there is on a different level. It wouldn't have been £100m spunked away imho. What Kane has achieved at Spurs is quite phenomenal in its own way, in a pretty average team.
