Sacking an interim manager, ..bizarre. Give it a few weeks, they may get down to the kit-man.

He looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him up. Doubt he argued his case much. Not that I like Spurs but I hope Ryan Mason has a successful end to the season after what he’s been through. Good luck to him

Utterly classless, pure Levy.

Perhaps Conte had a point Conte was absolutely bang on and I thought that at the time. He’s a class manager so when he comes out with that stuff it’s pretty much nailed on

Serves em right for flogging Wimmer to us. Not to forget Palacios mate although they did sell us Crouchy who I thought was great for us overall. For the Wimmer and Palacios deals alone though they can get fucked for the rest of their days with a large instrument.

He’s done well at Spurs results-wise as well but people should know what they get with him. He’s like Mourinho, never stays anywhere for long and falls out with everybody. Spending a fortune on a side shaped to his specific style when he was never likely to be there for long has left them in a pickle now.

Oh yes mate he never stays long but normally brings success doesn't he. Which makes me wonder why he hasn't succeeded at Tottenham leading me to think they are just a bit of a mess really. Who are they linked with in taking over? I've not seen any names bud.

He got them into the Champions League and probably would've done again if he'd stayed. He just seems exhausting to be around and he only ever builds for the now. They're rather optimistically hoping for Nagelsmann I think. Looks like they've missed out on Poch. Could see them ending up with someone like Potter or Rodgers, who would underwhelm their supporters but who I think could actually do a decent job there.

Totally agree with Rogers or Potter who I think would do very well at Spurs. I think you're right though in that their fans wouldn't be happy with either but they need a manager like one of those two. I think Rogers would do brilliant there but he would need time and that's the key.

Interestingly for someone considered to be financially astute , Levy has absolutely wrecked Spurs on and off the pitch by building a ludicrously expensive stadium. It might be a nice stadium , but it's going to give Spurs financial indigestion for decades. If they fail to qualify for the champions league , they are absolutely stuffed by massive loss of revenue and insane debt repayments. Levy has quite likely stacked the dice , to make Spurs a club that have to qualify for the champions league ( to meet their debt repayments ) by recruiting on the cheap ( to meet their debt repayments) hmmm? good luck with that one , Mr Levy
