When you have a septic tank like me you are a lot more careful what goes down the pan. It's a living eco system and when running efficiently needs almost no maintenance. When I do get it emptied it ends up on our food production. Caring for your own shit makes a difference. Cheeky Panda bog rolls are the best imo, bamboo you can almost watch it growing. uk.cheekypanda.com/When I lived on a boat we used no toxic chemicals in the portapotti and I had a humanure compost toilet outside on the land Put the contents on a compost heap and had no end of tomatoes that year 😁🍅💩 Read 'The Humanure Handbook' humanurehandbook.com/

I don't like toilet paper that's too soft. The shit hits the surface and water splashes onto my ass. Then the soft toilet paper gets into hundred pieces when using it.

Shiny paper like my Nan used to have. I understand it used to be scraped clean - an early effort at recycling. Izal I think it was, horrible stuff, even the sentinel was better than that. It was good for copying your mates homework tracing paper if you’d forgotten to do yours

Didn’t the romans use a sponge on a stick As far as I'm aware and relying mainly on the historical accuracy of the TV show Plebs, I think they did
