Millwall will target any issues at CB so hopefully Jags is back or Taylor or Axel fit to start
Don't need to press like we did tonight I'd go with a diamond Baker in for Gayle

A nailed on loss after a win tonight.
That's how it works isn't it?

Millwall are doing very well. Up to 5th now after tonight’s draw with Burnley. Rowett doing a very good job down there. Tough game on Saturday.

Gaz Rowett's pecker will be twitching at the thought of a 0-0 against us.

Campbell will be q biv miss if we have to follow concussion protocol but presumably celina would play there Think Celina will miss out if the other loanees are fit

The issue now is the loanees.
Sarkic is indispensable currently, as is Sterling.
Pearson transforms this side so he has to be in, Smallbone has been playing very well recently.
So that leaves one out of Tuanzebe, Hoever & Celina.
Given Hoevers solid game tonight it would be brutal to leave him out.
We need to get a couple of these signed permanently because this entire situation is a complete farce.

A nailed on loss after a win tonight. That's how it works isn't it? Wouldn’t it be great if we could break the habit. Millwall are decent and I think there physical style will be a far bigger challenge. I don’t see us getting away with that CB pairing against a bigger side. I’d go 433 again Sarkic Hoever Wilmott Jags/Taylor/Axle Sterling Pearson Smallbone Laurent Brown Gayle Campbell

We haven’t generally done well against Rowett since he left so it would be nice to get one over the useless prick for a change.

MON said that we had nobody on the field or bench that could deal with their strikers - which I thought was a shocking statement as it was the first game of the season and we had just had a window to try and buy some defenders that were capable of keeping the mighty Millwall out. Sadly not a lot has happened defensively in the window that followed that - if anything we got weaker and have fewer numbers to choose from - so I am guessing another cagey match and tactics to keep them away from our goal will be the order of the day(like the mighty Hull) - might not be a game for the purist - if Jags is out it is Wilmot vs Millwall

You’re central defenders will be Wimott, Taylor and Jags (1st choices).. He may make a cameo performance. With games running out this season he won’t, can’t possibly play to his full potential. Next season loan?

The teams aren’t good enough and we would get goals from pressing I believe

Not averse to a diamond with Baker, but If Campbell is out with concussion then Gayle stays in, and he did a cracking job last night harrying Swansea's defenders and making space/opportunities for others.
