How on earth can a professional football club still have such woeful facilities for away fans. Portaloos and burger van in the football league!!!
The ground was shit 20 odd years ago for away fans and its still shit now.
Hard to believe they had a season in the Premier league with such woeful facilities.

Don't disagree, but to be fair it looks like they've done a good job on the other sides of the ground for their own fans. Yes the away stand is cheap and cheerful, but at least they've provided seats for plenty of away fans. Much better that than limiting it to 800 spaces stuck away in a corner.

That side of the stadium is coming down over the summer I think. It’s been a “temporary stand” for about 15 years now.

However bad that temporary stand is it can't be half as bad as the open air temporary stand it replaced. I remember standing on the wooden steps supported by scaffolding in our first trip there just after we signed Ryan Shawcross and seeing 3 or 4 different Stokies manage to drop through the planking which didn't survive the bouncing up and down of our away fan base. Amazing no one was killed or at least seriously injured!
In Blackpool's defence let's not forget that, until the past year or so, the club was owned by two of the biggest crooks in British football. Now they are gone I expect a lot of things will improve.
As another poster has said, the rest of the ground is pretty good (far better than some new small stadiums) and, presumably, the temporary stand will be rebuilt to match the rest of the ground in the not too distant future.

Blackpool were in the Prem not too long ago, so to have Portaloos in 2023 & charge away fans £29 to be faced with urine covered seats is disgraceful. A Blackpool supporting friend confirmed to me that they are replacing that East Stand in the summer.
