You clearly know that Shearer is the premier league top scorer and that’s what he’s referring to. I think Kane bears comparison even to Jimmy Greaves, who achieved his top flight record mainly because he starting blitzing goals from his first full season aged 17 and also because First Division seasons had 22 teams instead of the 20 it is now. Greaves averaged 0.68 goals p/game in the top flight with 348 goals from 506 games, whereas Harry currently averages 0.67 with 213 goals from 317 games. Greaves got a 4-year head start on Kane, but his last top flight season was at the same age that Harry almost is now. Even then, I think the all time record is probably beyond Kane, but I think if Harry can reach circa 430 games and beat Jimmy's goals p/game ration then he should still be rightfully considered the best. He can definitely break Shearer's top flight record in the next three seasons so long as he's in a team that makes chances aplenty. I really do hope he goes to United instead of Bayern.

Happy to see him abroad, why not? Because I'd like to see him break one of either Shearer or Greaves's records. He would still win silverware at United, though his best chance of a title or European trophy would be at either Bayern or Madrid.

He’ll win trophies for sure, but I think it’ll feel a bit hollow as opposed to winning the Premier League or the FA Cup. If Bayern became UCL contenders again though, it would be completely justified.

If I were Bayern I'd walk away from the this now. Kane at his age is not worth the amount Spurs are holding out for. Even 80m is too much.

You'd have to think Kane has another 4 years at the top level if he can stay injury free. 20 million a season for a guaranteed 25-35 goals, is an absolute bargain in this day an age.

It's more than 20m per year and that's not even including whatever wages he'd be on. Too much risk for someone with no resale value imo. If you're going to break the bank then I'd go for someone mid 20s. Look at what happened with Mane at Bayern. Even the best players don't guarantee success. They were lucky they found a Saudi buyer.

Stay for a year and walk for free and get a massive signing on bonus, that would really crank up the Spurs fans hatred of levy and the owner, they started to turn on them last season.

I think he may need to do that if Spurs are playing greedy fuckers. Then join Bayern in a year. It's getting late in the transfer window and valuable bedding in time is being lost. I'm not sure what Kanes priorities are. The Prem scoring record which he'd get eventually if he stays at Spurs (or goes to Man United), or some silverware. If Kane wants to stay to get the record then he'll need 48 Prem goals, which will most likely take him 3 seasons and then he'll have no chance of joining a massive club like Bayern. Going to Bayern means uprooting his family. Though with that comes almost guaranteed silverware. Bayern will most likely win something domestically each season, but is the Bundesliga something that Kane's particularly interested in? Not sure. Of course there's the big draw which is the Champions league and he'd have 3-5 goes at that I expect. Also, it must be great playing at the Bayern stadium and if he were there for 4 seasons he can realistically expect 4+ trophies. If he wants the prem record and a crack at the champions league then he's best heading up north to Man United. They seem to be having a resurgence under Ten Haag so might be good timing.

Hojlund is having his medical right now, so long as that goes through ok, then that will be the end of any chance of Kane going to ManU.
Daniel Levy really is a complete fucktard.
