Bit weird in the sense this is exactly the type of loan Neil said he would avoid?

Bit weird in the sense this is exactly the type of loan Neil said he would avoid? is it? Its a spinnable loan. He's out of contract, we can see if we like him and vice versa, sign him up in the summer if it works. Similar to Sterling in that sense.

We're an injury away from having Fox at CB in a back 4 though. It's a big gamble.

Should be fit in time for pre season at whatever club we’re getting him ready for.

If he’s injured for a chunk of the rest of the season it’ll have been a disaster (can’t even remember the lad from Brighton that barely played due to an injury, Sima?) If he plays really well Man U keep him or look for ridiculous money High risk last minute stuff by the looks of it

Have we had any confirmation on Taylor's injury. Maybe it's a better prognosis than we thought.
If not this is a massive gamble.

Possibly something to work with then. He’s a good age (only a year older than Souttar) and if he’s over the injury problems could be a real asset at this level.

Could we just be taking over his contract to avoid using a loan or would that be too much for us wages wise?

Interestingly, Craig David, sorry David Craig, on Sky just said he's discussing personal terms. Would a loan involve personal terms?

To get his wages off the books without having to pay him off But is that likely, unless he’s crocked surely they’d extend his contract and then sell for some sort of fee. He seemed to have potential so he must have a reasonable resale value all other things being equal. Not convinced tbh

A proper scrape the barrel signing.
If we get any more injuries we are well and truly fucked

Isn’t that an option to buy and there’s no mention of that and why bother with that (unless still constrained by FFP which Neil said we weren’t) if his contract is indeed up in 6 months

Or we get him fit and playing, then in the summer goes to anywhere but stoke. This signing only makes sense if it’s perm.
