If I had a pound for everytime I read that on this board I'd fund a player myself. I don't think we would have sold the move to him as Dujon Sterling's deputy, do you? Neil said loan would be key players only last week. That said, it doesn't sound like they'd have been inundated with other options for him with how his last 12 months have gone so maybe taking what they can get No its probably sold to him as he's in competition with Sterling for a right back spot. He can take those odds or play reserve football for the rest of the season.

What happened to not getting loans in for loans sake. What does this mean for Sterling? Don’t we now need to get rid of another loan player as well. Odd one this. Sterling (or Brown - who played well there against Reading) as RWB and Hoever (or Wilmott) as RB. Clarke has already gone so why do we need to shift another loanee?

Seems to me if as stated PSV are paying most of his wages and wolves say his next loan will be purely for footballing reasons . Then its a chance for him to prove himself for us and we either get a player who wants to improve and show what he can do or he can sit in the stands and be paid for the next 5-6 months by PSV. It won't impact the squad loan numbers only if he is in the squad...worth a gamble I suppose

I agree, no drama here from our point of view we have one actual RB, Sterling who whilst looking very good has been injured tons RB was a position we needed If Hoever can't play RWB & Sterling out presume either we wont play wing backs or he'll play Brown or Wilmot there not amazing but without Hoever it looks threadbare

With Sterlings injury problems since he joined we cant just rely on him.

So what, if anything, will we be contributing towards his wages?

So what, if anything, will we be contributing towards his wages? Not much, by the sounds of it - which probably added to the attractiveness of the deal! But if a competition for minutes at Stoke (which on the face of it he has a real chance of losing if Sterling stays fit) is the best option, he really was short of options

With Sterlings injury problems since he joined we cant just rely on him. Agreed. It does feel a little off the party line when you consider we were trimming the squad and ensuring we have the right people though when Harry Clarke wasn't terrible. It feels like a risk for the transfer teams and AN where we'll be able to directly compare his and recently sacked MoN recruitment and decision making.

Kill or cure. At least they'd know if his attitude was permanent or not and if he was worth persisting with.

Fair to say his last year has been a disaster All very confusing. Manager not happy with a player’s preparation? What is he doing on the pitch then?

Sounds perfect for us. If we want to keep signing duds. Lacking professionalism- perfect, are you a friend of Berahino? In you come lad…🤣

I'd rather see Macari given a chance when Sterling is unavailable......

Read the replies from the Wolves fans under Percy’s tweet. Not exactly a glowing report from them… Although one Wolves fan says this #Stoke fans - please ignore #WWFC idiots, they are the same fans who said MGW was a useless footballer when clearly he wasn’t.
Ki is talented, you don’t make a debut for LFC at 16 if you aren’t. He’s just lost his way & needs to rediscover his mojo.
🙏 AN is the man to do it.We should listen to fans of other clubs before we sign players …..it’s imperative Thank fuck we listened to Burnley fans and signed Sam Vokes

Arnaoutovic was similar in regards apparent attitude I’ll judge him when he’s here and not what fans of other clubs say He’s 21 ffs Pretty much agree here. I do t want to write him off either but it’s a bit of a red flag. For every Arnie you get a Jese 😂 Hope he can improve the team if we get him in.

Looks like he can play in the middle, but he doesn't sound a fan. Sounds a strange use of an important loan slot, given what he said last week. But Neil will know the financial situation and what's available more than anyone else. theathletic.com/2604081/2021/06/01/hoever-adama-has-something-that-no-one-else-has-the-more-we-play-the-better-the-connection/“I’ve trained at centre-back a few times at Wolves but at this stage of my career I’m more of a right-back. That’s also what I want. I’m sometimes a guy, if a game gets too easy for me at centre-back, I want to get involved really badly. As a right-back, the game will never be easy. Or, if it is, you can go forward as a right winger and try and do fancy things, play nice balls and if you slip up it doesn’t really matter if you’re winning. “As a centre-back, you don’t want to do that. It’s about zero goals against. Sometimes if I’m defending well, I want to do something with the ball but it might not be the game to, so it’s just easy balls to the right, the left; 20 metres, et cetera. “When I was at Liverpool, I played eight or nine games at centre-back in a row for the under-23s. In the first few you’re focused, then it gets a bit easy sometimes, you make dribbles, give risky balls. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn’t. At centre-back, you just need to be solid. sportwitness.co.uk/weakness-defensive-qualities-wolves-defender-facing-criticism-loan-club-already/“Hoever is not a right back. He is certainly not a right back for PSV,” Aad De Mos told Eindhovens Dagblad, relayed by Voetbal Primeur. “He is vulnerable on the inside. He is a central defender. He is brought in on the basis of his international games with the Dutch junior team, the Dutch U19 team and the Dutch U17 team. “To the eye, he is a nice player, but his weakness is of course his defensive qualities.”
