Had the same cue for about 25 years now (2 piece powerglide)
I fancy a change, anyone got any advice?
Looking for a 3/4 split cue with a screw in extension but have no idea on what’s supposed to be good and how much you need to spend these days.

Bought a Peradon 3/4 jointed ash cue a few years back, thing of beauty (and not cheap imho,)but unfortunately my game is still crap, but at least it looks good when i'm missing easy blues into the centre pockets....

They should be easiest but centre pockets are a b£tch, I will take on a tricky long pink over a straight blue into the centre.

I like a game but not especially good and don't play very often. Highest break is 43.
Any century breaks on here?

Good advice for those with colour blindness don't mistake the Pink for the Brown

Reminds me of the old snooker joke with Steve Davis (or whoever else was popular at the time).

You absolutely need to go and try cues out yourself.Forget whats in these days or what your mates say its your cue, pick what suits you fella.I dont know where you live but the snooker shop in Levenshulme is the best imo. Hes been there for years ,they have all sorts of cues from second to new and you can try them all out.Prices ranging from £5 up to £500+ you can spend hours in there . I have a Cue craft hand spliced.

Try Chesworth Cues in Sheffield they are on eBay for a budget up to £300
If you’re willing to pay more than Green Baize in Middlesbrough are by far the best, chap called Stu Green owns it. Check it out online
